Tony Romo out for four weeks (1 Viewer)

Can Brad Johnson still play? And can he play at the level that Romo had played before this year? Plus I think this is a major bump for the run game.

I really need a qb for week 8. I guess BJohnson is still the backup. Better than taking a zero I guess.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has a broken pinkie on his throwing hand and will be out four weeks, a team source told ESPN's Michael Smith.

Romo initially was diagnosed with a pinkie sprain in Sunday's 30-24 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Veteran quarterback Brad Johnson, the Cowboys' holder on kicks, is Romo's backup.

The Cowboys have lost two of their last three games after starting the season 3-0.

He looked BAD in pres season and this do nothing for an already sick (As in poor) looking run game.Downgrade ALL of your Cowboys.

so does it help or hurt the run game? Barber is already getting allot of carries and he did all of his damage catching the ball this week. I just don't see how it can help Barber.

Thanks for the LINK!! :goodposting:

all the books pulled the game down.

if you have a slow offshore or a stupid local, grab all the STL you can and buy back the DAL when the new line is put up.

ESPN's Michael Smith reports that Tony Romo will miss four weeks with a broken pinkie. That would mean three missed games and a return in Week 11. This isn't just devastating news for Romo owners. Brad Johnson will take over and his weak arm doesn't mesh well with hitting Terrell Owens deep. He'll also make it tougher for Marion Barber to find running lanes.

I've always liked Brad Johnson alot but at 40 not sure he is anything more than a game manager - if that.

This could be a bad stretch for the Cowboys.

From a fantasy perspective TO and Crayton take a big hit. Witten takes a hit, but could be the main target for BJ.

Barber should see increased carries and I guess Johnson is at least savy enough that teams will have to respect the pass a little.
