Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has a broken pinkie on his throwing hand and will be out four weeks, a team source told ESPN's Michael Smith.
Romo initially was diagnosed with a pinkie sprain in Sunday's 30-24 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Veteran quarterback Brad Johnson, the Cowboys' holder on kicks, is Romo's backup.
The Cowboys have lost two of their last three games after starting the season 3-0.
He looked BAD in pres season and this do nothing for an already sick (As in poor) looking run game.Downgrade ALL of your Cowboys. Can Brad Johnson still play? And can he play at the level that Romo had played before this year? Plus I think this is a major bump for the run game.
Come on, they still have Brad Johnson.Broken pinkie.Cowboys are in deep ####.
Yep..first play of OT.I think it happened on the last drive before the overtime. He had been taking a bunch of shots all day.wow....when did this happen???

Coming from a Jets fan, you're in trouble if you have to rely on Bollinger.I think so.They have Brooks Bollinger as well.Is Brad Johnson the pickup?
ESPN's Michael Smith reports that Tony Romo will miss four weeks with a broken pinkie. That would mean three missed games and a return in Week 11. This isn't just devastating news for Romo owners. Brad Johnson will take over and his weak arm doesn't mesh well with hitting Terrell Owens deep. He'll also make it tougher for Marion Barber to find running lanes.
as a vikings fan I will second that and throw in Johnson as well, they are both really bad imo.Coming from a Jets fan, you're in trouble if you have to rely on Bollinger.I think so.They have Brooks Bollinger as well.Is Brad Johnson the pickup?
OH....I KNOW. Just reporting the 2 possibilities. It WILL be Johnson though.Coming from a Jets fan, you're in trouble if you have to rely on Bollinger.I think so.They have Brooks Bollinger as well.Is Brad Johnson the pickup?
You'd have to think Witten would still hold some value -- for shorter passes.very bad news for all Dallas O players.... expect a heavy dose of Barber to come
No, the difference is that Dallas actually has a running game.Cowboys fans are about to find out what Patriots fans have been going through.Brad Johnson? Brooks Bollinger? Oof.
really?Brad Johnson >>>>> Matt CasselCowboys fans are about to find out what Patriots fans have been going through.Brad Johnson? Brooks Bollinger? Oof.
