People are raving over Miazga's performance today, which was said to be excellent playing against both Griezmann and Suarez.Miazga went the full 90 in a ginormous win for minnow Alves over Atletico Madrid.

Matt? Matt Miazga? Against Luis Suarez.People are raving over Miazga's performance today, which was said to be excellent playing against both Griezmann and Suarez.
I didn't watch, but Atleti didn't really do crap on offense so hopefully Miazga was instrumental in that.NewlyRetired said:Miazga went the full 90 in a ginormous win for minnow Alves over Atletico Madrid.
NewlyRetired said:Aaronson starts again today. He needs to stay healthy if we are going to be missing both Gio and Pulisic for all three games.
he had not yet dressed for Chelsea since the last window. No rumor, just speculation.Pulisic is rumored to be out?
Jozy? Did Sarge get hurt?Sargent didn't get a shot off today with Norwich...per Twitter had no service.
Could be a Jozy situation all over again.
and again in second half. This time Weah draws a PK and David scores from it.
Weah also drew a penalty later that David converted. Timo’s secondary numbers (5 key passes, 6 of 9 in duels) were also impressive. And he was apparently also playing as one of two up top and not on the wing.
of all the US players on social media, Scally has to be near the top for social media hype.Another full 90 for Scally. I think he has played every minute of every game in all comps.
Also got bloodied up pretty good.Weah also drew a penalty later that David converted. Timo’s secondary numbers (5 key passes, 6 of 9 in duels) were also impressive. And he was apparently also playing as one of two up top and not on the wing.
Might be the best goal he has ever scored. holy hellGyasi bringing some filth tonight.
Nice field.Turner with a very odd looking pk save that help win the game for the Revs and three more points towards the Supporters Shield.

And the assist on the second goalDest with another start for Barca today
looks like a different sport, doesn't it? I am so old and jaded now that I am pretty sure I will die and not see the Revs in their own stadium.Nice field.
I've been watching on my phone... didn't realize that was him- gorgeous pass.
what happened to Barca today? so far, it's like the Barca of old- working their collective asses off and getting numbers around the ball everywhere on the field and on both sides of the ball, and then moving the ball quickly. this season seems like they've been sleep walking up until this half.He fits in much better at left back for Barcelona IMO

Levante haven't been good. The cheap answer would be that Koeman is suspended, but I think it is more about Levante being really poor. Pretty horrid marking on of De Jong that Dest assist.
I hope they get some of that lethargy back against better teams.Levante haven't been good.
But it's the energy and dedication from Barca that seems like the old days and not what they've shown this season.

@FS1 just reported that Schmetzer expects Jordan Morris to be in training with the @SoundersFC at the end of this week. #Sounders #MLS
Chris SmithSome notes on Pepi (Zanotta is the technical director at FC Dallas)

Andre Zanotta told us last week:
-Hopes Pepi stays w@FCDallas through '26 World Cup, but knows that's a high hurdle
-Feeling good about retaining Pepi through winter window, but knows good summer '22 offers incoming
-No formal offer yet received
-One BIG club was in VAN Sat
I was just watching 2004's train yesterday. The fact he's starting in goal for an MLS club just blows my mind.17 year old keeper Gabriel Slonina has now started 3 games for the Fire and the reviews have been very good.
I know they're "big"... and they seem awfully good at developing talent. but at this point, Eredivisie seems like a small league. Might be a nice spot for him to continue building goal-scoring acumen. I just feel snake-bit after Jozy.Chris Smith

It's been reported that a "big club" was in Vancouver on Saturday to watch Ricardo Pepi. I can confirm that club was Ajax and that they met with the player's representatives #USMNT #DTID #Ajax
Ajax does give him a high chances of being in the Champions League which could raise his profile and then he could make a bigger move in a few years when he is 21. I like it in the way that I like what Aaronson is doing.I know they're "big"... and they seem awfully good at developing talent. but at this point, Eredivisie seems like a small league. Frankly that's one of the two places I'd want him to end up (Dortmund being the other). Effectively he needs coaching and reps in front of goal and those are two of the handful of places that you know will give an 18-19 year old close to carte blanche.I know they're "big"... and they seem awfully good at developing talent. but at this point, Eredivisie seems like a small league.
