Yedlin showed really low soccer IQ to pair with a his top end speed. His crosses were often overhit and he only got bailed out from poor positioning with his speed.
His crosses were usually inaccurate but he was often playing on teams with little offensive creativity where he was the only one willing to do anything other than turn around and link 4 consecutive back passes all the way back to the goalie, who would then bomb a 50/50 ball to midfield.
