US Men's National Team (6 Viewers)

Tillman in as a sub. But they're up 5-1 in the 86th minute, so not exactly a strong vote of confidence. Pepi still not in.

Also worth noting that Dest was beaten on the only Rangers goal, although it took a nice pass and he was close to cutting it off.
Does this put PSV into the group stage of the UCL?

Yep!

With no Spurs this year, at least I have a couple teams to root for (PSV and Milan).

So this answers why Gio was out for so long

One note regarding Gio Reyna's injury: It has been widely reported that he suffered a calf injury this summer on #USMNT Nations League duty. U.S. Soccer has clarified to me that was in fact a leg fracture he suffered. They did not expand further.

hmm, well I guess I was wrong about not having any more player movement this summer. This one came out of the blue but appears to make some sense

==========================

Gladbach have loaned Jordan Siebatcheu from Union Berlin until the end of the season. The Foals have also secured a buy option for the 27-year-old American.

“Jordan is your classic number 9,” said Borussia’s managing director for sport Roland Virkus. “He’s a target man up front, someone who can hold up the ball well, and an experienced Bundesliga player that will really bolter our attack.”

Update:

Pefok goes to Gladbach on loan

The Athletic - Cowell move is officially off. Not really a surprise.
[Bogert] Cowell to Bologna is off. Bologna has signed two wingers since making a bid for Cowell. The final offer was a loan with a buy clause of $3M and could have risen to $5.5M with add-ons and a sell-on clause. The buy clause included an obligation that was very likely to be met. It was rejected.

Yikes, tough draw for the group F teams.

Dest, Tillman, and Pepi are getting an old "friend" as a new teammate. If Chucky is healthy, this is a great signing by PSV. I think he is the best offensive Mexican player right now and has been for a few years.

Note Chucky had a great run with PSV earlier in his career.

You think Chucky is more offensive than Raul?

yes. Jimenez has never been the same since his serious head injury and at 32, he may be winding down now. He did not score a league goal all last season.

I don't watch a lot of Chucky, but what I've seen hasn't impressed me the last couple years. And he was the player that scared the bejeezus out of me as a US fan prior to that.

Cannon - Awaiting medical at West Brom

oh wow, nice

West Brom Xtra
@WestBromXtra

Understand the Right-back being worked on is #USMNT Reggie Cannon, no rush to get this done as the player is a free agent, pre booked medical has been in place all day
I thought Cannon has been in limbo until they resolve his contract case and whether another club can sign him without tampering with Boavista. I had not heard that was finalized but good for him if it has. No idea what the Baggies look like nowadays but the Championship is better than the unemployment line for sure

Koleosho picked up his first return for Burnley as he assisted on a goal in the 5' vs Spurs.
That was really nice. Strength, speed, balance, and made the perfect pass to end it. That is the type of athleticism that Aaronson has struggled to produce.

I certainly don't know where he ends up, but Koleosho is a high end prospect. He's starting in the EPL and doesn't turn 19 for a few more weeks.

I think he's a few years away from Italy caps, Canada is a disaster, and he hasn't really given Nigeria a sniff. I hope we push hard for him because we really lack depth at wing. The fact that we are calling in Cowell this window speaks to that.
