LUCIANO ACOSTA IS THE 2023 LANDON DONOVAN MLS MVP!
His 2023 MLS regular season: 17 goals, 14 assists, Supporters' Shield winner, Goal of the Year winner
Pulisic playing really well. Hasn't misplaced a pass yet this game, including a couple of really good crosses into the box. Just attempted a half bicycle that would've been insane, but it was blocked.Milan vs Dortmund today
Dortmund up 1-0 in first half on a pk. Giroud has missed a pk for Milan.
Pulisic starting, Gio on bench, Musah is suspended.
Game just got interesting...Dest starting. Tillman and Pepi on bench for PSV in UCL play today.

This would be a huge road point for PSV
Arsenal up 4-0.The PSV win knocks out Sevilla and at least guarantees PSV a Europa spot.
Arsenal is beating Lens right now. If that result holds, PSV goes into the last game with a 3 point lead over Lens for second place.
Even better, if the result holds, Arsenal is guaranteed first place in group and will have nothing to play for when PSV hosts them in the last game. This would be best case for PSV.
It looks exceedingly simple. He just has to nod in a cross that's right on the money. But he absolutely created his space by checking his run to give the angle. With his physicality, he's a handful if he develops those Wondo-like Fox in the Box instincts. Here is the Pepi winner. He helped start and end the movement

The Dutch club can secure their spot in the knockout rounds for the first time since 2015-16 if Lens lose at Arsenal later on Wednesday.
Yes, head to head is first. So PSV are 99.999999999999% through already with Arsenal up 5.From ESPN....The PSV win knocks out Sevilla and at least guarantees PSV a Europa spot.

Hmm......PSV has 8 points and Lens has 5.
Oh, is the first tie breakers head 2 head instead of GD maybe? That might do it

Dest should have a word with him.Miazga got 3 games for going into the refs room after the game. He will miss conference finals and possibly MLS Cup

Miazga may confuse him for Diego Lainez.Dest should have a word with him.Miazga got 3 games for going into the refs room after the game. He will miss conference finals and possibly MLS Cup

MLSPA statement. This is a bad look for the league if what they say is trueMiazga got 3 games for going into the refs room after the game. He will miss conference finals and possibly MLS Cup

The most interesting and, IMO, least likely theory is this:
I really hope this new stadium is a success.
Looks like he is still crushing it with the U21's. I think I saw back to back hat tricks for him in his last two games.Apparently there is a complication here as the Championship has a fixed number of loanees you can use and Swansea are already at the cap. So I don't think he'll be able to appear for the first team until January when they either send a loanee back or make a permanent move for Fletcher.DC United have an 18 year old player named Kristian Fletcher. He was not seeing much time and the team this fall decided to loan him to Swansea (I believe DC United and Swansea share some common ownership).
Swansea put him on their U21 team and he is off to a great start. He has been playing as either a lone striker or a dual 9. He has 6 goals in his first 6 games.
There is now some talk that he might get moved up to the main squad in the Championship but some details have to be worked out first with DC I think.
I'm really glad to see him having success. I never understood why DCU didn't give him a shot this year (he got in 10 games but only played 120 minutes) and I didn't realize til this post that they had loaned him. The 2005 class is pretty strong but hasn't had a breakout attacking player. He and Ngoma are guys that can make the class really special.
Damn about Weah. Last we heard it was not suppose to be that serious but I think he been out about a month now.Swag with another start today for Juve and still no Weah.
Pukstas is one of those guys that has been super underrated because he plays in a league that gets no play here.
I know it's a little silly to have a kid averaging around 2 goals a game because it's clear he's too good for a level. And there is the concern it's not really helping his development.Looks like he is still crushing it with the U21's. Both went the full 90 in a 3-1 win. Busio had a very high rating on fotmob 8.5 and Tessman also had a strong 8.0Tessman and Busio both starting as normal. Venezia is up 2-0 in second half, Busio has an assist.
