Ok it is confirmed that Charlotte will have grass. I am going to assume it is the same every where else
I can't remember. Has it been confirmed that Atlanta (and the other turf fields) will convert to grass for the Copa?

He was probably the best player on the field in that game. He stood out repeatedly for his athleticism in defense and was an absolute terror going forward -- especially in the first half. If I hadn't known who he was I'd have been looking to see who he was.Another nice assist from Jedi today

Shocked Howard wasn't unanimous. Would love to hear what those who left him off were thinking.2024 Player Ballot Results for the US Soccer Hall of Fame
Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson talked about Chris Richards ahead of today's game vs. Bournemouth. The decision to play him as a midfielder against West Ham was a very late decision, not preplanned. Richards filled in due to injury. Hodgson was pleased
Every day I hear a name I have never heard before. It is getting overwhelming to track every one.Ok... Who is Declan Firth?
21yo English Villa wing who moved to Valencia, and still waiting on 1st team minutes. He applied for a US passport (US grandma)... GGG has been recruiting him. Sounds like they'll track his progress for Se team, but he could play a role in the U23 for Olympics...
Anybody know more about him?
whoops, I misread. Ream is on bench todayRichards, Ream, Jedi and Trusty all starting.
Root hard for Fulham as they are playing Forest and could give them a 4th straight loss since benching Turner.
Would be crazy if he could fill that #6 role for us out of nowhere.ESPN is showing Richards in the middle of the midfielders in a 4-3-3.
"I'm not used to the ball going over my head"Richards coach on the experiment in the midfield (which was due to an injury)
even all these years later, the designation "center-half" catches me off guard. When I grew up, a center half was always in the center of the midfielders, not a center back."I'm not used to the ball going over my head"Richards coach on the experiment in the midfield (which was due to an injury)
I looked him up a week or so ago when these rumors just started. He appears to be a bit like Alex Mighten who filed last year. Good athlete. You can see some potential. But he's never really showed anything and he's already 21. It's entirely possible one of these guys ends up being a late bloomer. Low probability bullet but it's a bullet nonetheless.Ok... I don't actually think Owen exists as a player any more.Good Lord... Konrad. He and Owen Otasowi can join DR and actually get to play somewhere.
Actually, the ball allegedly deflected off of someone, so no official assist.Tillman and Dest started.
Tillman assist to go up 1-0 in 34th minute.

Mexico got a pretty decent draw too. Honduras/Costa Rica are dead in the water IMO. Canada is gonna struggle just to get to that 2nd place. Here is the Copa draw. Not a bad draw for the US at all. If we don't advance to quarters, I will be very disappointed
Canada (if they qualify) got an ooomph group.

Kinda wanted a bad draw. If we don't get to play Argentina or Brazil at some point during it I will be disappointed.
Gonna be hard to beat Uruguay in our group so likely get to see one of them in the quarters. If we do top the group it would set up an epic semifinal. Here is the Copa draw. Not a bad draw for the US at all. If we don't advance to quarters, I will be very disappointed

The group stage should not be that hard. They are playing in massive stadiums in the group stage. How hard will it be to get USMNT tickets for the Copa?
Yeah, I know this is a WC warm up, but man COMNEBOL was smart to have the Copa up here as a warm up. They're gonna make bank this summer. Pretty much every game is gonna hold 70,000+ fans. The group stage should not be that hard. They have also been smart about scheduling the stadiums. For example Panama vs Bolivia will be in Orlando's MLS stadium.Yeah, I know this is a WC warm up, but man COMNEBOL was smart to have the Copa up here as a warm up. So you're saying that Mexico vs. Venezuela at SoFI stadium will start around $300 for nosebleeds? They have also been smart about scheduling the stadiums. I am very interested to see what the ticket prices will be. I assume the prices will be variable based on who is playing.
Yeah, not sure exactly how they decided the pots, but getting Uruguay over say Peru is quite a large difference.I like a hard draw but in this case was hoping for anyone but Uruguay from the second pot. I’ve not looked at the bracket but assume 2nd place plays a first place team in the first knockout round so would like to have drawn anyone else from that pot because we can’t really expect to hang with Uruguay.
What goal per minute rate is needed to sniff the field on a regular basis?5 goals and 1 assist in 200 minutes (League and UCL)Pepi scores 1 minute after subbing in

No idea if these are official source but the USA Today article had links to Vivid for tickets. Argentina/Chile at MetLife started at $568 for upper level at the ends. Anything toward the center even upper deck was $900 or higher. Lower level were $2000 to over $3000. These are no longer an option for a Xmas present for my son.So you're saying that Mexico vs. Venezuela at SoFI stadium will start around $300 for nosebleeds? They have also been smart about scheduling the stadiums.
