Vegas (2 Viewers)

The D is a tad more pricey than a few of the other ones. About $750 all-in for 5 days. Also, this video saying it's very loud in the room. Anyone remember it being loud?
Just ask for a room on highest floor.....on backside of building away from Freemont
Yes, this. Live music on Fremont is very loud
Bar Canada on the 2nd floor of the D is good......love Circa.....but not the constant thumping music and the " have to show your ID" at all entries......even when you flash them a room key !!

The Wynn had two single zero roulette tables in the high roller are with minimum of $100.
There were zero people in the high roller area at every casino I was at. Granted, it was Wednesday and Thursday during the day mostly

We tried Mott 32 last time and it was outstanding. https://www.venetianlasvegas.com/restaurants/mott-32.html

Not cheap but really good.
Booked for July 5th. :banned:
Been there, it’s great. We’re going with a lineup of Toca Madera, Ocean Prime and Komodo starting next Saturday
You get into Vegas that Saturday or are you there before?
That Saturday
Dang, that's when we head out.

We have Juniper Bar and Best Friend tonight, also will be checking out Roy Choi's new food truck setup at Park MGM. Cubano incoming!

Just had a 3 night stay at Park MGM. Still really loving it there and it being smoke-free is such a bonus. Had a really nice meal at Toscana. Saw both Lady Gaga and the Brian Newman After Dark show at Park (the Nomad Library room is so cool). Our only bad experience this trip was terribly slow service at Juniper one night around midnight. It wasn't that busy so unsure what was going on. Hope the trip is a great one for you.

Agree 10000%, so nice to go from your room, gamble, eat, drink and not come back smelling like an ashtray. Best Friend is also a place we always like to hit, so that's a plus.

Missed out on the cubano since they had different hours for Sat and they weren't posted before hand.

Mott 32 was fantastic. We had the Traditional Iberico Pork Shanghainese Soup Dumplings, Shrimp Wonton Soup, Sweet & Sour Pork, Dragon Fruit, Aged Black Vinegar and Wok-Fried Angus Beef, Broccoli. All were exceptional, especially those dumplings. Could just eat those all night. :porked: The Peking Duck Old Fashioned I had was also great.

Glad you liked it.

Back home today. Enjoyed the location and small footprint of Vdara. No real kick gambling, only saw $5 tables at Cromwell. Komodo, Toca Madera and Ocean Prime were all fantastic, as was Allē Lounge at Resorts World. Saw Absinthe for a 2nd time and thoroughly enjoyed it again.

Vdara is my preferred spot for the yearly conference I go to in August. I'm there for an entire week this year and I also like it because it sits between the two main conference hotels, the Bellagio and the Aria.

Booked a Junior Studio at the Plaza for Week One. I may have been the beneficiary of a glitch in their booking system, but it's still $134/night. I am comforting myself with the knowledge that I have a better-than-zero chance of getting the $40 nightly resort fee removed at the end of the trip.
