Week 07 2022 who should I start thread **OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL** (1 Viewer)

Pitt at Miami
ATL at Cincinnati
Seattle at LAC

Giants are available as well but don't love them this week on the road, tend to like the home teams.
I have Miami right now but I listed a couple on waivers. I have Buffalo on a bye week.

Thanks Chaka
Man, you know I think defenses are random number generators but I'll try.

Personally I think the Giants have a semi-decent opportunity because A) they are playing much better than Pitt, ATL & Sea and B) Jacksonville is reeling a bit and Lawrence has some potential to turn the ball over as much as any of the other QBs you are going against. more than Tua or Herbert. Burrow maybe is a bigger risk but after giving up 13 sacks the first two weeks they have only given up 9 sacks over the last four. Not awesome but not terrible for him.

To me it's close between ATL & NYG and the Giants give up the fewest points and, IMO have the best chance to win so.

NYG>ATL>not sure
Miami, Cinci AND LAC, I bolded the options, sorry

Full PPR, pick any 1:
Etienne
Pacheco
London
Doubs

Pick any 2:
Dillon
Keenan
Juju
Pacheco
I would love to say Pacheco, an that may be a good call but I think the way Etienne is trending is probably worth pursuing. I would like to see him get more volume, but that may not happen as I think Pederson is trying to prevent him getting punished, but he has to be at least as explosive as any of your other options. I also think he has the best offensive line by a good margin and he is a legit factor in the passing game.

Etienne>Pacheco>London>Doubs

Is the second question also PPR?

I don't think you can start Keenan, he's still a GTD. I'm tired of waiting on Dillon. To me this comes down to Pacheco v JuJu and choosing between them is tough. The Niners are equally good vs the run and the pass so that isn't a deciding factor. I like the JuJu seems to consistently get 8 targets per game and we don't know what to expect from Pacheco in the running game, let alone the passing game.

Feels like a coin flip IMO but I'm kinda leaning:
JuJu>Pacheco>Dillon>>Allen

Ooooooooohhhhh... well that was a waste of time

The Seahawks have been surprising and a big reason why is they have been good at limiting mistakes. You have a better feel for the Dolphins defense than I do but I do worry about the whole Brian Flores angle.

I think the Chargers have the best pass rush, even without Joey Bosa and the Seahawks still have two rookie tackles. Talented rookies but rookies nonetheless.

Mariota has been surprisingly good but he has fumbled seven times (lost 3) along with four INTs. He has had only one game with no INTs or fumbles. The Bengals aren't good at getting after the QB but they do have five INTs.

Total gut call and I have zero confidence in any of these suggestions

And I am going to start my Miami Dolphins tonight at Home, sorry about making you write all that out but I appreciate you.
I liked Cinci quite a bit today but they haven't done much in 6 weeks of football.

Totally good with that call. Miami is a tough one to figure out because of their injuries but you gotta like going against that bad offensive line and a rookie QB. And, you're right about Cinci.

PPR League. Surprised there's no Pacheco questions here so I'll add one!

I. Pacheco @SF -- Named the starter. Is SF's D still banged up? ATL run game worked last week and I'd say KC offense a smidge better obviously. CEL still involved, but maybe we're seeing a serious shift by A. Reid here.

or

AJ Dillon @WASH -- Seems to be good for 10 PPR points, but allergic to the endzone.

Which?

Thanks
At this point I am tired of waiting for Dillon. And I have to think declaring Pacheco the starter means something otherwise why not give the veterans the perfunctory start then give Pacheco more run during the game. Seems like it would be better for locker room continuity...then again that didn't work too well for Melvin Gordon last week.

Either way, Pacheco is in a better offense and has looked tantalizing in his limited action.

This call may be more than a little based on who would be more fun to root for but:0
Pacheco>Dillon

Yup, was leaning this way.

Agree with your thought on naming him the starter. I don't think this is a small deal here. They know what they've got in CEL and have possibly seen enough. Would be disappointing if he's just a nominal starter and the two split touches.

And yes, the way this season is going, this is probably the week Dillon goes nuts.

With Swift out:

Michael Carter or Gus Edwards?
PPR? Very important on this one as Carter is probably more of a factor in the passing game. Gus has 22 targets in 43 career games. Carter has 22 this season.

Carter IMO. It's a tough call and a crud matchup but I think we can expect a dozen opportunities for Carter. I am optimistic about Gus and I don't think they would have activated him if they were deeply concerned about his knee. But it's been over a year since he has seen live game action and, the way the Ravens have been snake bit at the position they may not give anyone a ton of opportunities ever, let alone their first week back from a season ending injury.

That being said, Gus has the better chance to salvage his day with a short yardage TD.

Carter>Gus
