Jefferson had 12 targets to 19 for Woods going into today (not including Woods's 4 rushes).
I'm not watching the Rams game, does Jefferson have 8 more targets than Woods today?

No they each had 6 targets, but about half of Woods’ targets came on the last drive in garbage time (including the TD).

Fair. But, and I only ask because this is essentially an advice thread, is it fair to say Van Jefferson continues to out target Woods? Because it's still not really close.
Jefferson has out performed Woods for the most part but is it so clear that we are really calling Jefferson the #2 in LA?

No I’d say that Woods is still the #2 but seems like the gap between Woods and Jefferson is a lot closer than the gap between both of them and Kupp. In any event, there seems to be enough passing in this offense to support 3 WRs.

Why Gainwell? He's mostly drafted but is there a reason people should be trying to acquire him?
Sanders is a good back, the problems in Philly seem game plan & execution related not talent. Although there is an argument that the QB is part of the talent but also part of the execution problem.

I don't trust that. Sanders can catch, it was his role as a rookie. He regressed last year but the.entire team collapsed so I don't put that on him entirely.
I worry that Siriani is being too reactive and abandoning game plans.
I don't think we can count on either right now.

i like Sanders and he certainly has talent, but there is something up with the coaching staff and him. Gainwell looked good today and i don't think he will be left on the bench for long. not sure if it will be a split down the middle or what, but i would look to sell Sanders asap and grab Gainwell

I'd sell both in redraft (I don't play keeper/dynasty). Not sure there is much value to be had in either though.
Last I checked he was only taken in 29% of yahoo leagues. Other than that he seems to be the receiving back and has similar value to Nyheim Hines. Should be owned. 2 double digit games so far.

I think Gainwell is considerably more valuable than Hines. Big difference between having Taylor and Sanders ahead of you. And Hines seems to be much more game script dependent than Gainwell.

Not a surprise, but do you have a link on that rumor? Sometimes where there's smoke, there's fire, and interested to see if this rumor has any legs.

Yea I never saw a rumor. I just suggested it because it makes sense for all parties. Others could have come to that conclusion as well. Hopefully the Eagles do also.

How is it good for the Eagles to trade Sanders? Teams need more than one good RB. I can see why you would say this from a fantasy perspective however.

Eagles are not winning anything this year and they seem content not using him for anything more than a blocker. You can throw any schmuck in there to do that and get you 20 yards a game. Sanders has value so go get a draft pick while you can.

Priority 1 - Make sure Patterson, ATL is not available (appears to have unseated Davis as RB1. Crushing every opportunity he gets. He’s a talent.
Is this just an anomaly? Anyone with an opinion on if he will be fantasy relevant next year? Feels like I almost have to sell high in my dynasty leagues. May be RB/WR eligible in some leagues.
RB Mattison , MIN and Gainwell, PHI are likely candidates for league winners,

All of the following have seen a substantial uptick in carries. Not sure if any of these are injury related but these guys will not be available next week.

RB Perine, CIN - Looks like he dropped weight and is hitting the holes quicker Looking so much faster Check Mixon’s injury

SFO - all summer I noted how I wanted no part of this backfield and as I suspected, no telling who might emerge as the RB to own is.

Schefty saying not an ACL for Montgomery. ProFootballDoc guessing it's an MCL and he'll be out a few weeks.
Personally, I'm not investing a lot in the Chicago running game, especially if Williams is also hurt. They looked functional yesterday, but the Detroit match-up is always fool's gold.

He's young with not too much wear on the tires from both college and pro. If I was the Eagles I'd be running him 15 times a game. Not power I into the middle of the line but getting him the ball as much as possible because they will most likely not be giving him a new contract. Use him up and then he can go find a team. As is, he's not really being used as anything more than a decoy and blocker. You can get a practice squad guy to do that.

#Bears RB Damien Williams suffered a thigh bruise on Sunday and should be OK, source said. He’d be the starter in the event David Montgomery misses a few weeks with his knee injury. Montgomery may miss some time, though the belief is the knee isn’t serious.

I picked up Wilson last week. Regretting it because it doesn't seem like anyone was interested yet. Now I can't drop him after dropping some FAAB on it.
Jeudy I dropped earlier because I felt with a HAS, he'd still need an extra 2-3 weeks to get back in game shape on top of whenever he gets cleared to play.
Think it's totally safe to ignore Wilson and Jeudy for another week.
Serman did enough in SF to quiet the Wilson talk in fantasy circles and if Bridgewater is out, the entire Denver WR corp will be a do not touch.

Bridgewater is irrelevant. He will be back long before Jeudy. But overall, agree that it’s probably too early to target either guy unless you have super deep benches. I’m honestly not sure when it will be a good idea to pick up Jeudy, since there will be so many questions around his return, how long it takes him to become usable, etc.

Also worth pointing out that Wilson isn’t exactly CMC. He’s a decent RB who has shown flashes but generally played behind most of SF’s other options, and like all Niners is perpetually injured

Yeah he’s definitely worth a stash if you can swing it easily. Just saying don’t go crazy, and temper your expectations. Very unlikely he ends up being a league winner

I really don't want to do this but I have to chime in and say this is factually incorrect. In Week 3 Davis outsnapped Patterson, 67% to 30%. In terms of routes ran on those snaps, Davis ran a route on 70% of his snaps while Patterson did so on 27%. Patterson is doing extremely well (and unsustainably well) on his opportunities, and Dwain McFarland (@ContextMatters) takes a deeper dive into Patterson's numbers here.

Ding, ding, ding. If you're in a deeper league where Damien Williams was already rostered, or if you don't want to pay FAAB through the nose, I think the shark move is throwing a couple of bucks down on Herbert and seeing what it looks like. I think there's a fighting chance that he's the more valuable fantasy back by the time Monty is back. I wouldn't be surprised if the DW role ultimately turns into an expanded version of where he was at and this becomes a pretty even split for fantasy purposes.
Don't get me wrong, Williams is clearly the play and my week 5 expectations for Herbert are modest. But I think there's free lotto ticket potential here in a lot of redraft leagues.

Using a waiver claim on DWilly but not on Perine. I really need someone for Kamara's bye next week, and in addition to being nothing special it's not even clear that Perine will still be starting then, whereas with Williams I can be sure he will.

Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE fan of Cecil and Bloom. Great analysis. I most appreciate their ability to get into deeper league bench guys that the other podcasts won't touch with a 10-foot pole. It's why it's always so shocking when their waiver wire show comes out and they give their disclaimer about why guys like James Robinson might be available in shallower leagues and why Zack Moss and Devin Singletary have both made the "shut 'em down" list. Their waiver show seems targeted to casual owners in an 8-team All-Star league, when most of their other content seems geared to an audience (such as the Shark Pool) that's interested in deeper bench re-draft guys and stressing over dynasty taxi squad stashes.
With that said, Dr. Gene will always keep me coming back. Eventually they do touch on some of the guys that are actually available at their lower tiers, just wish their metrics (ownership %?) would shift lower down the food chain.

One thing that irritates me is a lot of podcasts list % owned based on redraft and yahoo rather than a dynasty % owned.
