I only needed 2.2 as it turned out. I am winning by .6
But it’s an IDP league, so my fate is up to the FF gods. They’ve been so cruel already, I’m hoping I gain points instead of losing them.

This hobby is absolutely absurd. I catch a HUGE break with Stevenson going down. Looked like I was basically a lock.
Then Hopkins carries the ball like a loaf of bread gifting the Pats D a scoop and score. Then another sack.....then a pick. All I need is for the cardinals to score ONE more point to take 3 fantasy points away from the Pats D. 2 more Patriots sacks later and I'm down by 4+ points and its over.
And the worst part.....my brother is gonna get my spot with a 7-7 record and nearly 200 points less than me.

Interesting night. Could have finished anywhere from #2-#5. Needed less than thirty-nine from Rhamondre and Deatrich Wise combined to assure me of a win and third place. So, I won the game I was in, assuring me of third, which means I'll play the sixth seed in the playoffs, which will be interesting. Would have rather had the bye, and if JJ Watt sacks Mac Jones on that play, I'd have it. But alas, Jones evaded him and I sit in third.
Onward and upward. Hope for a victory on the 15th-19th and go from there. *shrugs*

did not watch the game, made it a double date date night with the neighbors (my wife’s workout partner is a fellow FF widow - so both husbands promised not to look at our phones)
of course we felt that only applied during the movie….30 seconds after the lights came up

Was up 14 with Rhamondre and Folk vs the Patriot D. Needed the win for a bye. Nightmare after nightmare. Hung on by 3 points. Never so glad to see 3 kneel downs in my life. Did not want AZ to get the ball back pinned deep. Exhale Judge. Exhale.

My main redraft team started 1-6 and has made the playoffs as the 6th and final seed at 7-7. Going into this week there were three 6-7 teams competing for the final playoff spot. I played one of the others and beat him. Tonight I needed to see if the other would lose -- I needed Brown to score less than 17 points, and he did. Crazy.
Three of my seven losses were by less than 5 points (two by less than 1 point), so karma came back around or whatever.

I’ve never been so happy to lose by 88.37 before
probably never lost by that much either but still a lot less painful than some of these bad beat stories
ETA: didn’t even get the worst beat down of the year - 88.39 back in Week 8 (same dude that thrashed me Week 14)

I had both also.
Reportedly Higgins aggravated the injury in practice, but it didn’t say anything on my mobile page.
Had I known I could have swapped in Palmer’s 9.5
So now I have to sweat it out until Thursday AM to see if I lose points or if my opponent gains points. It’s the opposite of awesome.
