It's ridiculous they call it an IPA, as a generic lager, it's still bad but no worse than you're average Bud/Canadian/whatever.
The Canadian Great Lakes brewery is pretty good. I like Muskoka Brewery as well.If you're in Toronto, BarVolo is a good place to go. I'm there for a concert Tuesday night and were going to head there for a couple before.
Bar Volo is solid. There is also a place Beer Bistro which may or may not still be open that had a great list as of 2-3 years ago.

in your opinion, does MI have any stouts comparable to yeti? I do not like the bourbon aged stuff, but sure michigan has some great stuff.
How is it? I haven't had it in a few years, but I remeber being very disappointed.
Very chocolatey is good. It is a fudge stout. Founders has a brewery only Donky Fudge Stout and its unreal.
A local brewery, Angry Chair, has an a stout called Fudge Bucket...havent had a chance to try it but Ive heard its the imperial version of their German Chocolate Cupcake Stout, which is awesome.
My god, I want to make love to that beer.

lol...Im tellin ya...trade for any Trillium hops you can get your hands on, especially the dry/double dry hopped stuff. Its life changing. The Double Dry Hopped Fort Point might be the best hoppy beer Ive ever had (including all APAs, IPA, and DIPAs Ive had)...and at 6.6% ABV, its stronger than Crank, which makes it feel like an IPA to me.
Point me in the direction.

I would just drink local during your trip. Save the NvU for your return.
