What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (2 Viewers)

I'm currently rotating Stone IPAs and Deschutes Mirror Pond PA's. I really wish I had a big Belgian in the house right now. That sounds really good.

f'nBakes!
:lmao: :banned: :lmao: Saw that bottle of Weyerbacher Simcoe DIPA I just popped open from all the way over there, did ya?

Damn this is one great smelling brew - sharp hop attack with a caramelly, toasty malt aroma. Tastes even better. Diggin' this one big time.

Come on man, SNPA is a session beer.
Im just working my way through the fridge. I have SN PA, SN Summer fest and ONE 22oz Stone IPA. Im saving that for when I can enjoy it.
I have a little SNPA ;) .
One hour away from my home there is more. A lot more.
I only have a keg of it. :hot:
Seriously, GB Northern California. Tons of great breweries withing driving distance. Sierra Nevada is just the tip of the iceberg.

I will give the Rouge Imperial Stout:

Thick and black, seriously hold this up to a light bulb you aint' seeing through it...and no I ain't talking about Sean Michaels thick and black either, I'm talking about motor oil...

Very tasty...

Had a pint each of Abita Cream Ale and Purple Haze at their brewpub along with lunch. Good stuff.

Now, Troegs Pale Ale. Can see why this is a top ten APA

Don't think I've seen the Pale around.

Troeg's is like Weyerbacher - highly underrated breweries. I've said it a hundred times - southeast PA is such a kickass area for beer. Like beer? Like potato chips and pretzels? It's like making a pilgrimage to the Vatican if you like Catholicism. I'm serious.

My beer guy is getting all that the distributor has left. I think I'll buy a "few".

Currently drinking a Stone RIS. After this, got some Dogfish 90min and Stoudts OIS in the queue.
Not a bad lineup. surprised you don't post in this thread more often.
Only a few weeks ago discovered the store by me that sells good beers. Been using this thread as a guide. I'm sure I'll post more often in this thread when I become more acclimated with these types of beers.
 same thing happened to me a few months back. I'm still quite the n00b though.Had a Rogue Shakespeare Stout and now finishing off a Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout.

:goodposting: I've had about 7 of Troegs beers. All really good. Now to find the Pale.

Leave the schtick in the BIF thread, okay?Just finished a Ruination. On to a DFH 90. First time having these back to back. Hard to rate one above the other. The DFH definitely has a more malty sweetness which is good, but the bitter hops of the Ruintation are also tasty. This is a photo finish.

What's amazing is that I can get it here in NOLA. I can't get DFH, Stone, Great Divide, etc...in other words, most of the great American craft brews. But, somehow, a local store has Troegs, and is the only store in the South to get it. GB them.3C's, if you have some trouble finding it, I'd be happy to set up a trade.
