What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (2 Viewers)

Also saw the store had Evil Twin, picked up an Imperial Doughnut and Imperial Biscotti. My beer guy said they are A+ beers, I had never heard of them. Anyone familiar?
Haven't had Imperial Doughnut, but Biscotti is fine. Good beers but a little overpriced, IMO. I don't buy them often. The brewmaster/owner is the brother of the guy who runs Mikkeller, hence the name.
You were right, it's good but overpriced. It reminds me of the Sam Adams gingerbread beer which is like half the price.

Yuengling rolled out a new Summer Wheat, hadn't heard about it until a trip to the beer distributor today.

As someone who has drank Yuengling Lager for a decade+, and loves summer/wheat beers,

Look up about 14 posts:
Yuengling Summer Wheat.
I had never seen it either before that day, and when I did I picked up a case. I'm also a huge Yuengling fan, the Lager has been my goto daily driver for years.Loving the Summer Wheat. Gonna pick up another case this week.

I love craft beer but it's hard to not grab a $14.99 24pk of Bud light. I look forward to reaping the benefits of the big beer companies competing with the small guys.

Revolution Brewing here in Chicago makes some excellent beer. Just had a Wit and a Hibiscus Ale. Perfect for a hot holiday.
Wasn't a huge fan of the Hibiscus - just not my cup of tea. Love their other stuff and will be drinking plenty of it tonight.

anyone had the evil twins ... i love you with my stout? is it a must try?
The stout was actually on tap last night where I was but I did not partake. I will check it out, though I think I have indeed had it before...

Founders All Day IPA is a good summer IPA
Agreed. It's my go-to yardwork beer. Well, that and hoppy wheat beers which I am growing fond of. My favorite is Akari Shogun which I am having difficulty getting in the Chicago suburbs. Going to have to make a run to the brewery to load up even though it's probably quicker and easier to go get Gumballhead...

Decisions, decisions....

Great Lakes Rye of the Tiger
I wonder why Great Lakes and 3F aren't in a lawsuit over Rye of the T and Rye da T. I'd think whoever was first would sue. Or maybe Survivor should sue them both. I had a couple of the Great Lakes version tonight while grilling, and a few Bedlam! ales from Ale Asylum.

Hoppyum bomber (road brew)

Miller lite

Strohs

Natty Greene's southern pale ale

Oskar blues g'knight

Green flash west coast IPA
