I am a big fan of the Old Plowshare Stout that Fro sent me in the BIF Box. It's organic. I saw it after I got the box at Whole Foods. Nice and drinkable stout. Certainly on the dry side, and somehwat thin compared to the Big Boy Stouts. But being a Little Guy, I liked it.

I have never seen Old Plowshare, and I live in NorCal . That said, I'm sure there are exceptions, but one brewery that is available pretty much everywhere around here, Butte Creek, makes tons of organics. Most of them suck my butt.

I may only be drinking a lowly Casco Bay Riptide Red or Offshore IPA, but with the waves crashing in the background I can pretty much deal. About to fire up a growler of Cape Cod IPA.

Last night I had, no question, the best Hennepin I ever tasted - picked it up fresh from the brewery when I got potsie's cave-aged bottle and, lemme tell ya, it was out-freaking-standing. So fresh, hoppy, yeasty, estery... I'm getting a case of it next time I'm there. That followed a hoppy, earthy Cisco Bailey's Ale. VERY good beer vacation thus far.
