What movies if on can you not change the channel? (2 Viewers)

So I have a stupid deep collection of DVD/BD/4K discs. So typically I won’t watch movies with commercials and edits.

However we do have some movies if on….the Mrs and I won’t turn off. In no particular order

1. Groundhog Day
2. Aliens
3. Gladiator
4. The Shawshank Redemption
5. Road House
6. Alien
7. Halloween
8. Old School
9. Forgetting Sara Marshall
10. I Love You Man
11. The Departed
12. Indians Jones and The Last Crusade
13. Raiders of the Lost Ark
14. Jaws, Jaws 2, Jaws 3
15. Fast Times at Ridgemont High
16. Animal House
17. Sixteen Candles
18. Some Kind of Wonderful
19. The Breakfast Club
20. Fargo
21. Bull Durham
22. League of Their Own
23. Major League
24. Rudy
25. Vacation, Christmas Vacation, Vegas Vacation

Bloodsport

Ogre is just captivating.
Came in here to post this same thing. I never actively seem to watch it, but if it’s on I’m watching. This is the main movie like this for me.

To lesser extents my list would include: Field of Dreams, any Mad Max movies, A League of Their Own, Finding Forrester, and Good Will Hunting.
After reading through this thread and thinking about it, I'd also add:

Billy Madison
You've Got Mail (my favorite rom com)
The Rock
XXX (Vin Diesel movie)
Any original Indiana Jones

Also, while not a movie, I'm watching any early season episodes of Law and Order: SVU if they pop on.

Again, these are movies that I wouldn't actively choose to watch but if they're on as I'm flipping through channels in a hotel room or some such or a lazy afternoon and I see these, I'm watching. Movies like Caddyshack, Animal House, Shawshank, A Few Good Men, Rounders, My Cousin Vinnie, etc. I'll still choose to watch and therefore don't qualify. With that thought, I should probably remove Field of Dreams from my list.

Many movies already listed are on my list.

Here are a few more I haven’t seen mentioned yet. Some of these movies are well known, a few are not. Some are critically acclaimed, a few not so much. One actor or director or subject made me think of another. But they’re all movies I finish watching if I flip to them.

Collateral
Django Unchained
Jackie Brown
High Fidelity
Finding Forrester
Good Will Hunting
Dead Poets Society
School Ties
Win Win
Sideways
Braveheart
Three Days of the Condor
An Unfinished Life
No Way Out
Narrow Margin
Enemy of the State
Crimson Tide
The Equalizer

I think my list of truly "never skip past" movies is pretty short.

One that I haven't seen mentioned is Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

UHF was a great suggestion I would probably echo. That may be because it is kind of rare to find on TV though.

Christmas Vacation is probably the most truly honest answer for me. Don't think I've ever come across it and not stayed there.

Hoosiers would be close also.

Plenty of good choices mentioned already. Going old school here:

It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World

I think this is one of the best ensemble movies ever. The editing between the hardware store basement, the airplane, Pike, Finch, Meyer, etc is superb.

Many already listed but for some it's only if it's on a channel that isn't going to censor the **** out of it.

I Would add
Red Dawn, the 1st one
A couple of the 9/11 documentaries IDK the titles
Gangs of New York
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Thin Red Line
Twilight Zone
, just about any episode
