For this type of response you deserve a Ray-Ban.I can see this is a polarizing topic.

Agreed that may be the deal. I‘ll wear them on the drive and have forgotten to take them off warming up at times, but then eventually take em off at some point and then it bugs me.I think the trick is to just go all or none with them. I just decided to own it a few years ago and even where them to putt now. I do have the special brown tint or whatever on my sunglasses which are support to help with depth perception on green surfaces.I find it hard to get used to for some reason. I try and wear them in between shots, walking around the course, etc. but forget half the time.I still don't get how few pros wear sunglasses. Has to just be murder on the eyes.Almost always. Except when playing golf which is probably when I’m doing the most damage![]()
Looking forward to the pI’ll to fix the damage in a decade or so!
Yes, most normal contacts block around 15% UV light but there are some that block more.Have they invented tinted contacts for this purpose yet?
Hate playing golf with glasses on..... I'll put them on when between shots if its super sunny but can't swing with them on.....I still don't get how few pros wear sunglasses. Yeah I never played baseball with them on, either, but when I got out to AZ the sun was just too strong so I adjusted for both baseball/softball and golf. I didn't like it at first but just forced through it and now I'm used to it (and probably prefer it).Hate playing golf with glasses on..... Couldn't play baseball with them on either..... my eyes just don't adjust correctly for tracking
Uh...Whenever I see a guy wearing sunglasses (not at the beach), I immediately think DB.
I blame Tom Cruise.
I also have PTSD from guys wearing ties (not waiters) out in the wild.
I blame P.O. supervisors.
Don't your eyes hurt in the sun?? I couldn't go without sunglasses really at this point for driving during daylight or playing sports, sitting at the beach or in a pool, etc. on a sunny day.Absolutely despise sunglasses, personally. Lived most of my life in the South (NC and VA if they count).
Haven't owned a pair in about 25 years. I think I briefly owned 2-3 pairs up to that point.
The world is dark enough. I have no idea why everybody wants to make it darker. I hear expensive sunglasses don't make it dark. GIven those briefly owned (and lost/destroyed) sunglasses 25+ years ago, there's no way I could ever be convinced to buy expensive sunglasses.
This is just one of those things I don't get.
I live in HI, spend a lot of time outdoors, and almost never wear them. Big fan of squinting.I wonder how much of this is influenced by geography.
Seems like those of us in the Southern states (not the South, but Southern states geographically) tend to be the ones that wear sunglasses more often.
Same here. Not sure it's applicable to you but for everyone to consider...brown eyes handle sun better than lighter colored eyes.Always when I’m outside whether it’s sunny or not
Not sure how anyone goes without on a sunny day. I can barely keep my eyes open without them then
Yeah I have gorgeous bright blue eyes.....Same here. Not sure it's applicable to you but for everyone to consider...brown eyes handle sun better than lighter colored eyes.Always when I’m outside whether it’s sunny or not

Ever since I had laser eye surgery my eyes have been sensitive to sunlight. Wear them almost any time I'm in daylight.
