  at those implying that KC was the better team when New England beat them not once, but TWICE this year.

Straight-up. Heads-up.

GTFOH with that crazy talk :lmao:
I hope you aren't thinking that I implied any such thing.  I don't think KC was the better team but Brady was very fortunate that a KC linebacker lined up in the neutral zone because the pass was horribly overthrown to a wide open receiver and was tipped for a pick.   Just goes to show you how good Brady is cause he was flawless after that -BUT- had it not been for a bonehead pre-snap mistake by a linebacker on the other side of the field Brady would have thrown 3 picks in a losing effort.

And yes I reject the ridiculous notion that Brady saw the guy in the neutral zone and knew he could overthrow a wide open receiver on a 5 yard swing pass.

KC/Rams would have been my choice.

NO/NE would have been the more interesting game.

LA/NE isn't bad....and I do think LA has more than a puncher's chance......but this one SEEMS the most lopsided.

The last time the LA Rams (not St. Louis) was in 1979 in a similar lopsided matchup with the Steelers.   No one gave the Vince Ferragamo led Rams much of a chance to keep the game close let alone win it.   But the Rams were leading at halftime 13-10 and had a 4th quarter 19-17 lead and were driving when jack Lambert picked off a pass with about 5 minutes left in the game.  Terry Bradshaw and John Stallworth  took over the game and scored two late 4th quarter TDs to give the Steelers a 31-19 win and their 4th Super Bowl title in 6 years.

I look at this game in the same way though the Rams have a much better QB now.  But even if the Rams manage to keep the game close or have a small lead it will just be a matter of time before Brady puts the game away for good.

There have literally been zero NE Super Bowls in the Brady/Belichick era where the Pats have put the game away for good. They always end up going down to the wire (I suppose you could list the first Eagles match-up as an exception, because the Pats were up 10 late before giving up a TD on a drive that took way too long and didn't give Philly a chance to get the ball back. But it still ended up as a three-point game.)

Uh obviously I'd have preferred the Eagles vs anyone even if it was Tim Buck Two International College Tech but given the choices KC vs LAR. Wouldn't care who won but would be cheering for Andy to get the one that keeps getting away and for the Rams would be cool after all the fires and everything thats gone on in their community over the last few months
