Yeah that was way off before the ball snapped.should have been delay of game or a timeout

He asked about Daniel Jones. Not Sam DarnoldHe didn’t make the flight. Inactive. Is Daniel Jones dressed today?
These questions in bold above have definitively been answered.I was reminded again this weekend just how much everything ramps up in the playoffs. The speed, the hitting, the intensity, everything is magnified.
And that doesn't seem to suit Sam Darnold, and therefore the Vikings, very well. We saw that in the playoff-type game at Detroit last week. And Darnold folded. And I don't think KOC recognized that fast enough and did enough to try to make it easier on Darnold.
Stafford and McVay and Co., conversely, have been through the wars. They'll be fine, even if a lot of the younger players don't have as much playoff experience.
So I think the game likely comes down to a few things:
1) Where are the Rams at emotionally with the fire situation? I can see it being either a huge distraction where they just play really flat, or it could be a thing to rally around and play inspired football. We'll see.
2) Can KOC and Darnold learn from last week's disaster? Can KOC do anything to help settle Darnold into the game? Can Darnold get rid of the ball and not take costly sacks? Can he make the throws under pressure that he failed to make last week? Can he avoid turnovers?
3) Aaron Jones needs to have a big game in all three facets: running, receiving and pass protection. If he doesn't, the Vikings are screwed.
4) They have to get Jefferson involved on the first series, whatever it takes. Quick slant, jet sweep, whatever.
The Minnesota sports fan in me can never predict a win for the home team. But objectively as I can be, I think the Rams win this fairly comfortably, something like 24-10.
I just don't think the Vikings defense can hold the Rams' offense down, and I have no faith in Darnold.
I would love to be wrong.
Would have been Tuck Rule except Darnold pulled it down after the pump
When you talk about a big-pressure playoff game vs. a tough blitzing D, that's tailor-made for Daniel Jones! They seriously may have to get Darnold out of there
I guarantee you it would be more fun to watch for both teamsMight be Nicky Mullens time. He'll turn it over as often but he'll also throw a couple TDs.
It is nowhere near Nick Mullins time.Might be Nicky Mullens time. He'll turn it over as often but he'll also throw a couple TDs.
He is QB3. Emergency only.He didn’t make the flight. Inactive. Is Daniel Jones dressed today?
Except one of those guys has been in the league for six years and has a real NFL head coach talking in his ear on every play.Darnold doing his best Caleb Williams impersonation...
It’s not Daniel Jones. He’s inactive. When you talk about a big-pressure playoff game, that's taylor-made for Daniel Jones! They seriously may have to get Darnold out of there
Sam is a great arm talent, but not exactly the master of the mental part of quarterbackingDarnold won’t be a Viking next season.
Will be JJ’s show.
Pumpkin effect is in full force. Was a heck of story but in his two biggest games this season…..it’s the old Sam Darnold.
He has 34 minutes to change the narrative.
That’s typically most QB’s drafted. All of them that are first rounder’s generally have elite arm talent.Sam is a great arm talent, but not exactly the master of the mental part of quarterbackingDarnold won’t be a Viking next season.

If that’s the case in the Vikings, get the kickoff to start the half it could be at least competitive in the third quarter17-10 at the half. I’m calling it.
You have to agree that no QB could have success behind that OL, right?Darnold has a great arm. Can make throws that very, very few others can. But he can't process very quickly, he has no pocket presence and makes some really terrible decisions far too often. KOC got everything out of him that anyone possibly can, I believe.
He's not the guy.

Exactly this. The O line is doing Darnold no favors
literally negative favors.
