I’d be ok with a fine, going to charity.Agreed he should be punished by the league for his action. Important to make this a zero tolerance situation.
I don’t want him suspended - but I think the NFL will.

Not really. Adams could've just bumped into him but he chose to shove him.Does this angle change anyone's opinion? I think it changes my view of the incident.
No.Does this angle change anyone's opinion?

That's the whole thing though, why shove him to the ground? The guy wasn't moving fast and Adams obviously saw him (he shoved him) and could have just stopped and let him pass or kind of nudged him away.Not really. Agreed - he didn't have to shove him. Still, it changes my view of the incident somewhat because I initially thought Adams just bowled him over. When Adams said the guy jumped in front of him, I thought that was probably bull####. It turns out that's a pretty accurate description of what happened.
this....kinda like if I cross the street on foot when I am not supposed to (don't have the walk signal) and I get hit by a car.....yeah you hope the driver stops and sees you and is able to stop... and maybe ultimately still has some responsibility.....but I also have to share part of the blame....Not really. Yep. If Adams didn’t see him and bumped into him then there would be no problem. We’ve all accidentally done that in our lives. The problem here is that Adams pushes him with arms extended.He shoved him.I've watched as many angles as I can find....in each one... to be honest it looks like the guy is in a big hurry and cuts off Adams as he is heading into the entrance of the tunnel...that is just my view and the way I see it....others may see it differently.....if the photographer has more spatial awareness and doesn't cut Adams off, this probably doesn't happen.....I don't think Adams was "seeking out" this guy....I really think the guy startled him and he reacted....I think we all have to admit, the camera guy looked like he was in a hurry and cut Adams off...if you see it differently thats fine....I really don't care, it's just how I see it....he shouldn't have pushed him....no doubt....but I can see how he did it as a reaction given being cut off....he should have helped him up, and unfortunately for him saying " I was frustrated" instead of "startled" is what may end up costing him games and some cash...But the photographer did not jump out of a trashcan. He didn’t jump out in front of him and yell “boo!“. He was very obviously a photographer walking with his camera. The photographer was exactly where the photographer was supposed to be. Davante Adams simply decided to take out his frustration on that photographer. It was not OK.we see videos all the time of people jumping out of trash cans or pretending to be a fake bush or something and startle people in their personal space and they end up getting knocked the F out .....it really feels like that to me....and I think his comment about being frustrated instead of saying startled is unfortunately a bad choice of words when kind of explaining it....we know he was frustrated that is obvious and probably the reason more why he didn't help the guy up than pushing him to begin with.....again if he helps him up instead of walking off, this would probably be more of a "nothing to see here" moment....
That’s it. That’s the problem here.
Not where the photographer was, not what color he was wearing, not whether he’s religious or not.
Davante Adams was mad and shoved a photographer because he was a convenient outlet for his anger.
And he’ll be fined and/or suspended for it.

In every stadium across the country, when the team enters/exits the field, there is stadium security that prevents ANYONE from walking past the tunnel as the team enters or departs! INCLUDING PHOTOGRAPHERS! You are NOT permitted to walk pass at that time!
this camera guy purposely snuck past security and timed his assault. deport him now!!security was present (from my experiences) the entire time players and staff were on the field
@megnturner_
we have a ton of space … from the area from the coal post to the tunnel is like 15-20 yards in some fields
A stadium field is chaotic. People are going to be in the wrong place. But they aren't football players during a game. money grabcamera guy initiated contact with his equipment. case closed.
guy knew he wasn't supposed to be there. security is supposed to keep the area clear and didn't for whatever reason.
here's dude watching adams as he "accidentally" hits adams with the equipment he's holding.
assault with a deadly weapon and looks premeditated.

KC security looks to be in on it,
letting local camera guys assault visiting team players
Nobody is playing him this week…I think everybody in this thread must state at the begging of their post if they are an Adams owner or not, and if they are a Raiders fan or not. Really seems like a lot of people are biased here. Great popcorn reading though!
Example
**Not an Adams owner and not a Raiders fan**
Adams should have never put his hands on anybody. It does not matter what civil case/charges are brought to him. He broke the NFL conduct policy, and deserves a fine and possible suspension.
I’m not playing Adams this week either…

That angle VERY MUCH changes my view. It reminds me of someone cutting in front of another car trying to get insurance money out of them. Where was that cameraman going if not for intentially walking in front of Adams? There was a wall straight ahead. It was a bang bang "play" No way Adams could have avoided it. His "shove" was more of a defensive move than an outright shove. Should he have helped the guy up? Sure but this contact was in no way Adams fault and it seems like to me the facts should be looked at in the best light for the person who DIDNT cause the collision. Dude had to go to the hospital for a slight concussion? Comeon man.Does this angle change anyone's opinion? I think it changes my view of the incident.
Did anyone see this angle? Won't justify what Adams did but I might be OK with just a fine after watching it from basically over his shoulder, it does seem like the camera man, sound guy ran right in front of him or almost into Adams and it sure doesn't look like Adams was seeking out a defenseless victim but the overhead camera shot looks much worse than watching it as if you were walking thru the tunnel into the locker room
Does this angle change anyone's opinion? I think it changes my view of the incident.
That is another part of this. After he bumped into Adams and bounced off him, DeVante didn't seem too concerned for him and in fact was happy to keep walking past him...probably because he was irritated the guy just collided with him.He shouldn't have pushed him. He should have helped him up.
Censured, even fined, fine. Suspension would be a sham. Charging him is straight criminal.
From that view it looks like the guy actually ran into Adams. Hmm... Are we sure that "camera guy" wasn't Hunter Renfrow?Does this angle change anyone's opinion? I think it changes my view of the incident.

@Raiders
Alright! Enough of this
@tae15adams
attempted murder plot with the camera guy! There are two factors in play. One is, he probably shouldn't have pushed him, but the second and main factor is the guy shouldn't be on the pathway of the players leaving the field! If it Was me, because I usually jogged off the field, especially in KC and Denver, the shove would have been harder simple because I would have been on the move. Take into consideration this also, the first 15 mins after a hard fight game is the worst time for a player, even I have Been known to say some things (ask the bronco fans after snowmageddon) and do some things in the locker room,(new England tuck game) that are unlike me but emotions/passion are hard to control some times. Thankfully the guy isn't hurt and 17 has a apologized. Move on!!
Close it up folks. This topic’s a wrap.From that view it looks like the guy actually ran into Adams. Hmm... Are we sure that "camera guy" wasn't Hunter Renfrow?Does this angle change anyone's opinion? I think it changes my view of the incident.

I want to make sure I am reading this correctly because they made it out as if this person was credentialed, that's a loose term here.

Student injured by Raiders WR Davante Adams calls shove ‘unsportsmanlike,’ ‘act of violence’
The college student who was injured by Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams called the shove "egregiously unsportsmanlike and an act of violence" in a statement Wednesday via his attorney.www.kshb.com
his “first day on the job,”
"What happened was egregiously unsportsmanlike and an act of violence that should not be excused by the NFL."
I would have had more respect if he came out and said something like he's doing well, wished it hadn't happened but he did have to seek some medical treatment and to respect his privacy while he explores his next potential options, thanks. But that's not the tone or anything close to what he had the attorney release.
I went from feeling sorry for the kid to wanting to tape him to the goalpost, gotta be honest.
Dan Curry with the Brown & Curry Law Firm said the student, who was carrying equipment for a camera operator on his “first day on the job,” has asked to remain anonymous, but through an attorney he said:
"What happened was egregiously unsportsmanlike and an act of violence that should not be excused by the NFL."
Chiefs fan and I frickin hate the raiders.....raiders thread guys hate me.....I venture in there to talk a little smack on occasion....and unfortunately I own zero shares of Adams....I simply see how something like this could unfold the way things shook out.....don’t think Adams sought this guy out to take out his aggression....shouldn’t have pushed and and should have helped him up....but could see how at the time he wasn’t in great headspace to process it all correctly....I think everybody in this thread must state at the begging of their post if they are an Adams owner or not, and if they are a Raiders fan or not. Really seems like a lot of people are biased here. Great popcorn reading though!

I'd like the league to weigh in on it. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a "stay out of the players way when they're coming off the field" policy that the camera man f'd up on.
I don't know... maybe trying to do his job?Just watched it. Why was the cameraman dashing right into Adams way??
part of his job is to NOT be blocking players from entering the tunnel. other media and photographers have stated this. security are supposed to keep the entrance clear at all times. there was no reason for cam guy to be walking into a player with a long piece of metal.I don't know... maybe trying to do his job?Just watched it. Why was the cameraman dashing right into Adams way??
Agree with this. D Adams shouldn't have pushed the dude and should have helped him up, but who the heck knows what's going through the minds of these dudes right after a game. Cameraman deserves nothing but a "sorry about that" and he should have waited before crossing in front of Adams.I want to make sure I am reading this correctly because they made it out as if this person was credentialed, that's a loose term here.

I think it’s case closed for me at this point. My hope is that cameraman gets nothing, is publicly mocked and ridiculed, fired and banned from all NFL stadiums for life. Not a Raiders fan don’t play fantasy football.
Well, sometimes people screw up while on the job.I don't know... maybe trying to do his job?Just watched it. Why was the cameraman dashing right into Adams way??
Ah, the old AFC rivalry in full force.
kc fans were throwing objects at the players entering the tunnel at halftime. looked like security was failing all game long.
BREAKING: RaidersRaidersRaiders places blame on Chiefs and not Raiders player who actually did the act.first day on the job college boy. this really could have been premeditated...
chiefs are to blame for their lax security and hiring this camateur in the first place
