Not really. Adams could've just bumped into him but he chose to shove him.

If he would have stopped and helped the guy up, that would have changed everyones view. He looks like a spoiled athlete who just lost a game and couldn't deal with it.

I don't think Adams has any track record of bad behavior in his career, nothing that I can think of. This makes me think the NFL could just issue a fine and not a suspension if it is treated as a first offense this long into his otherwise well-behaved career.
All that being said, it does seem like something might be a little off with Adams right now as well. Maybe it is just frustration with losing and adjusting to his new team, but maybe there is something more.

Agreed - he didn't have to shove him. Still, it changes my view of the incident somewhat because I initially thought Adams just bowled him over. When Adams said the guy jumped in front of him, I thought that was probably bull####. It turns out that's a pretty accurate description of what happened.
That's the whole thing though, why shove him to the ground? The guy wasn't moving fast and Adams obviously saw him (he shoved him) and could have just stopped and let him pass or kind of nudged him away.
Helping the guy up could have made the whole thing go away. Instead he just blows by him. Total Richard move all around

Guy runs in the way of the player who just lost a heartbreaker, and happens to be the guy who collided with another WR on the game ending flub of a play.
Couldn't have picked the more perfect guy to run in front of to get shoved. It was a milisecond of "self defense". Its not like Adams did some premeditated shoving. He was pissed on his way into the locker room and someone randomly runs in front of him. Coulda been a crazy fan with a shank, who knows.
The way he just stood there afterwards seemed like he was shocked at what just happened seeing it was a camera guy.

this....kinda like if I cross the street on foot when I am not supposed to (don't have the walk signal) and I get hit by a car.....yeah you hope the driver stops and sees you and is able to stop... and maybe ultimately still has some responsibility.....but I also have to share part of the blame....
dude went flying by the entrance of the tunnel (which he isn't supposed to do) and actually cut Adams off and made contact with him....natural reaction of kind of throwing you arms arm and absorbing/bouncing off the contact....dude jumped in front of him and cut him off (very closely...not much time to stop the car so to speak)....shouldn't have extended the arms and should have helped him up.....
I think all of us at some point have been in a crowd or something and realize someone around us isn't paying attention and we prepare for the contact by almost pushing out or prepare for it by raising our arms....that camera guy was flying by like he really had someplace he needed to be like right now and cut Adams off...

Yep. If Adams didn’t see him and bumped into him then there would be no problem. We’ve all accidentally done that in our lives. The problem here is that Adams pushes him with arms extended.
Pressing charges seems like an overreaction, but the guy was assaulted. NFL should suspend him a game

I think everybody in this thread must state at the begging of their post if they are an Adams owner or not, and if they are a Raiders fan or not. Really seems like a lot of people are biased here. Great popcorn reading though!

Adams should have never put his hands on anybody. It does not matter what civil case/charges are brought to him. He broke the NFL conduct policy, and deserves a fine and possible suspension.

I root for the raiders as they’re a local team, even thought they are not *my* team.
I have Adams on one garbage bag of a losing redraft team.

That angle VERY MUCH changes my view. It reminds me of someone cutting in front of another car trying to get insurance money out of them. Where was that cameraman going if not for intentially walking in front of Adams? There was a wall straight ahead. It was a bang bang "play" No way Adams could have avoided it. His "shove" was more of a defensive move than an outright shove. Should he have helped the guy up? Sure but this contact was in no way Adams fault and it seems like to me the facts should be looked at in the best light for the person who DIDNT cause the collision. Dude had to go to the hospital for a slight concussion? Comeon man.

I’m on the “dude jumped in front of hI’m, so it was a reflex action” side of the the fence. Especially in an AWAY team environment as well. Sure, he probably should’ve helped him up, but it’s not suspension worthy imo. (Full disclosure: raiders fan here)
I‘d even go further to any that Adams should plead self-defense since the dude jumped in front of him when Adams head was down and it was an instinctual reaction. (I’m mostly joking but not totally joking about the self-defense idea)

That is another part of this. After he bumped into Adams and bounced off him, DeVante didn't seem too concerned for him and in fact was happy to keep walking past him...probably because he was irritated the guy just collided with him.
No fans in the immediate stands seem to react in a way that screams an assault just took place in front of them.

At halftime KC fans are throwing stuff at the Raiders. After the game crew is running in front of their players initiating contact.
A fine is all that is needed, and some type of review of why KC is letting opposing players get accosted.

Actually makes it worse for Adams from a self-defense standpoint, IMO. After looking at that angle, he wasn't startled or surprised by the guy. He gave him a "get off me" shove. Adams and the man weren't moving as fast as I thought they were before the incident. Then again, that angle makes it better for Adams in a certain respect because the boom mic guy is obviously dodging players and shouldn't be running in front of them in the tunnel and that becomes clear as day that he's bobbing and weaving through human traffic. **** happens when you're going against the human traffic grain. We are evolutionarily programmed to get people off of us when they're moving in a manner that is an impedance to our own.
No suspension is really warranted. A hefty fine is, though.
Not a Raider fan, have Adams nowhere. In fact, at his price, he was a DND for me because without A-Rodgers chucking him the ball from the one constantly, I figured his touchdowns would regress to the mean (he scored a lot of cheapie touchdowns in Green Bay, to my recollection).

Chiefs fan and I frickin hate the raiders.....raiders thread guys hate me.....I venture in there to talk a little smack on occasion....and unfortunately I own zero shares of Adams....I simply see how something like this could unfold the way things shook out.....don’t think Adams sought this guy out to take out his aggression....shouldn’t have pushed and and should have helped him up....but could see how at the time he wasn’t in great headspace to process it all correctly....
After learning that it was the guys first day on the job, I'm REALLY interested in what the protocol is for someone doing his job.
Also, those guys holding the mics along the sidelines get creamed all the time. I would expect their to be some kind of liability waivers these guys have to sign.

part of his job is to NOT be blocking players from entering the tunnel. other media and photographers have stated this. security are supposed to keep the entrance clear at all times. there was no reason for cam guy to be walking into a player with a long piece of metal.
now the guy is attempting to scam money in court. this should tell you something.
kc fans were throwing objects at the players entering the tunnel at halftime. looked like security was failing all game long.
