That clip was from today’s OTAs; non-contact 7-on-7 don’t mean nothing, but the man is on another level this year

Because of the 4th preseason game (HoF game), only two weeks of OTAs and veteran minicamp was shelved. They’ll have to start TC a week or two ahead of the other 30 teams in order to be ready to play the Chargers in Canton late July.

early in the pre-draft process he was a Top 30 pick, but meh 40 time (still recovering from 2023 sports hernia) and injury concerns saw him fall

Just gonna come down to how much Goff can handle interior pressure. That more than anything else is what ran him out of LA. It's very possible he's fixed it with experience, but if the Lions offense falls off a bit, that'll almost certainly be a main reason.

I like the idea of more vertical passing to Jamo, but it seems like a weird thing to do when you lose 2 premier players at guard and center. Especially with how Goff struggles vs interior pressure. Hopefully he doesn’t try to force something that isn’t going to work.

I’d actually prefer that they get him working on more mid range stuff. Didn’t it feel like it was either deep or short with very little in between? I don’t watch enough Detroit games to know if that’s the case.

Yeah, I was thrilled to land him 6.09 as my WR4

I’d actually prefer that they get him working on more mid range stuff.

The article I posted yesterday indicated that they’re opening up a sizable route tree for him, including those types of plays - crossing routes, quick hitters, etc.

I’m really excited to see what next level Jamo does. Thrilled to finally have a share at what seems like just the right time.

Actually he’s pretty elite on crossers, especially over the middle routes. Had his highest PFF grade & passer rating on medium stuff. I’ll post some (actual) stats later but I think it’s roughly:

• Deep (20+) 5-243-3 on 16 targets
• Intermediate (10-19) 20- 443 449-3 on 34 targets
• Short (0-9) 24-238-1 on 30 targets
• Behind LoS 9-77-0 10-40-0 on 13 12 targets

On intermediate targets between the hashes he was 13- 343 341-2 on 18 targets. Caught 6 of 9 contested catches on intermediates. He’s skinny but those are strong hands.

On intermediate center routes the passer rating was 128.2; on short center routes it was 135.0 (14-215-1 on 18 targets.)

Anyway, there are a lot of mouths to feed, and I think the offense still goes through Amon-Ra. But Jamo should see an uptick in targets because they seem intent on leaning on him this year.

Really excited to see what this kid can do this year. His physical skills were never in question but it sounds like he has matured and is more of a student of the game now, paying attention to the little things, honing his craft. The sky's the limit in that Lions offense, league-winning upside. I'm holding or buying shares of Jamo whenever I can.

I certainly remember one FBG's member who will roster him on every team he owns... and while there was a lot of bluster at this time last year, most of it proved to be true. Love him in best ball leagues. Tried to trade for him in our 0.5 ppr keeper league... was really close, but was turned down at the end.

Literally the idea of "I knew he wouldn't make it 22 picks" was the difference between him and the higher floor guys who went after. I wanted him and he wasn't coming back.
Maybe DK and Devonta Smith outscore him and I made a bad pick. He just has the highest chance of ending up as a top 5 wr between the three, and I don't think it's close.

No, last 2 months - experienced dynasty managers. SF though, not 1 QB. And TEP. It makes a difference, but not that much.

I drafted from the 11 in one and took him 6.02 and drafted from the 4 in the other and took him 6.11

Anyway, I’m psyched to have him & wish I coulda taken him in the FBG home league.

I took him over DK, Devonta and Marvin Harrison.

I had a millisecond of hesitation about MHJ but, I wanted Jameson and agree he's the one with the best chance to finish in the top tier.
