It’s really difficult to explain how improved Jameson Williams looks to start this training camp. His route running is so much more precise, particularly on patterns coming back to the quarterback. He put that ability on full display, easily beating DJ Reed on a hitch route in one-on-one drills.
Williams’ hands also continue to improve. He’s showing them late and snagging the ball off his frame. It’s amazing when you consider the struggles he went through two years ago.
There has been a steady drumbeat throughout the organization since voluntary workouts. From the GM & HC, OC, QB, other WRs - dude has taken his game to another level this offseason. John Morton wants the Lions to attack vertically more in 2025. He's still a goofy kid but embracing a leadership role more this TC.
I could see the regression case for the Lions but Jamo is ascending.
