WR Jordan Addison, MIN (2 Viewers)

Rotowire) Addison (undisclosed) was carted off the field during Wednesday's practice, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: After leaping for a contested pass, Addison was visibly hobbled as he left the field with help from the Vikings' training staff. The nature of his injury isn't yet known but likely will be clarified once coach Kevin O'Connell nexts talk to the media.

The sky is not falling. Everyone relax.
Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said the team believes Jordan Addison will be ok after suffering an ankle injury in practice.
Addison is still undergoing tests, but things don’t look to be serious. It’s a sigh of relief for Vikings fans and fantasy drafters alike after Addison was carted off the practice field earlier today. Assuming the tests don’t reveal anything unexpected, Addison should have a good shot at suiting up for the Vikings’ Week 1 opener in less than a month. He can remain in the WR4 range until we get another update from the team.

He still might get suspended though

Update: It’s feared #Vikings WR Jordan Addison has suffered an ACL injury. MRIs are still confirming the severity.

Devastating for the young star.
Too many twitter doctors trying to get the 1st report out now a days.

Kevin O'Connell confirms that WR Jordan Addison avoided a major ankle injury. "I don't see him missing any extended time," he told reporters at Browns facility.

LB Blake Cashman injured a finger yesterday and needed surgery. He'll return once the stitches heal, per O'Connell.

Jordan Addison -

Good to see him push off of his left foot in his return from left high ankle sprain, though this doesn’t give me full confidence on his week 1 availability.
Even if active Wk1, would be wise to avoid.
Could be run game heavy vs NYG

Addison was cut in my dynasty league. Was going to bid a good bit of FAAB on him since my roster is pretty solid and young. He's fit in. But seems like I have to cut Corley to get him. I kinda like Corley as a future option. But the Jets QB scares me. Addi will have McCarthy after 2024, and that seems like it should be fine, until he fits FA.

That’s insane. How big is this league?

Addison should not be on the wire in any dynasty league.

12 team, 20 player rosters.

Is this an elementary school league? Why would any sane person drop Addison???

IDP? If so I guess that's a pretty shallow bench. But still, I'm not sure what type of analysis is going to help your decision. A quick glance at startup Dynasty draft rankings has Addison's ADP at 6.01 while Corley is mid 13th round. Addison is 22 years old and had 70/911/10 last year. The clear consensus is that Addison is a much better value even though many people are expecting him to regress in 2024.

I may be losing it. I mean, I did have another birthday recently so dementia might be setting in but I could swear I saw a report last weekend that the league handed down a suspension. Did that not happen? I can't find it anywhere and not sure where I saw it? I think it might have been on ESPN or NFL Network or something like that.

Am I just too far gone or what?

Fake NFC North news account on Twitter. No one else posted it. I've been scanning relentlessly to find out before kickoff. That and injury news.

He probably will get suspended at some point for the DUI but nobody knows when.

Jordan Addison has "pretty significant soreness" in his injured ankle, per Kevin O'Connell. Vikings will be "smart" with Addison, he said, but also know he healed quickly from his previous ankle injury during training camp.
