How we feeling about Pittman's value these days?

Same. I think he can retain some value with Minshew back there, as he has at least some experience and would likely heavily target Pittman. Once Richardson gets in there, which will assuredly be sooner rather than later (if not week 1), I expect it to be wild passing ride as the team looks to run the ball as much as possible.
ETA: I made the mistake of bailing on Keenan Allen when Herbert came in, but definitely don't get the same vibe here.

Where would you rank him compared to the rookie picks this year?
I'm thinking low-end WR3. Not much volume, not many big plays, you are hoping for TDs, and that's always a questionable bet. I doubt I'll end up with him in any drafts. The fact he's going ahead of Lockett or even Evans is surprising.
He's actually got really cheap and is getting drafted as basically the lowest end WR3 in FFPC, as WR35, but he's for sure not a target of mine and I may very well never draft him either.
I think ultimately it boils down to how many games Richardson is playing, because if Minshew is his QB, he's going to be a really good bargain if not an outright steal at this cost IMO. I just don't like paying what he cost needing a likely injury or some god awful play from Richardson to be able to my feel good about my investment.

I’ve been going back and forth on keeping him (between him and Jeudy) and have been very reticent for the same AR concerns. What’s giving me pause is how Matt Harmon, who breathes this WR stuff, loves him.

Crickets on this guy. Likely for good reason with rookie Richardson at the helm. But with a poor RB room they are going to have to throw some correct?

My WR5 in a shallow bench league. Got him in the 10th round, 12 team. I’m fine with it. Given format, I can get a look at things and drop him for a high upside guy if it’s not panning out.
At the end of the day, he’s a good player, situation be damned. Draft good players.

I don't see him finishing in the top 30 WRs for fantasy this year. Yes, the Colts will be playing from behind a lot and I love the coach, but expect some very subpar play in the passing game. I like that Richardson won't be sacked as much as the former geezers because of his legs, but he will struggle in the passing game. I don't believe I'm saying anything you guys don't already know. This has to affect Pittman's productivity.

What's he supposed to say? I have a feeling Pittman will disappoint for fantasy in that offense. At least for 2023.

I don't expect an amazing year, but I do think his value got way too low.
He went for $11 in our auction. DJ Moore went for about $25.
Fields is more developed than Richardson, obviously, but these are still pretty similar situations.
Fields completed more than 15 passes in just 3 games last season.
Pittman and Moore both have made a career being productive without elite QB play.

Can't disagree...but be cautious with the box score (dunno, maybe you watched). ADOT was super low. Stoked he housed one, but can't expect that every game. Still glad I own him as WR4 but my expectations remain tempered. Definitely love the elite target count.

He’s my WR 4 in a start 3 WR 1 flex league. Very tempted to play him over RBs like Pacheco in .5 PPR.

His first three games had a good trend.
I believe he had 1 target in the first half and 4 in the second. He also caught a two pointer which I’m not sure counts as a target or not.
I didn’t watch the game, so no idea on what the balls thrown to him looked like… but it was definitely a disappointing start after 3 pretty solid games where he was a target hog. I’ll have to go back and watch some snaps.
I’m still starting him as a WR3/Flex with pretty good upside until further notice.

They also only threw 25 passes last week. They won't be able to get away with that every week.
With Richardson's running ability and the return of a, hopefully healthy and motivated Taylor Pittman should have a lot of opportunities. He's still the clear #1 option in the passing game with a rookie as the only semi-viable #2. I don't expect AJ Brown numbers but I expect similar utilization.

Consistent producer, surprised the Colts have not looked at re-signing.
I think it depends on the money. Pittman (in my opinion) is not a #1 WR. That's the role he has in Indy, but he's ideally a #2. So I think they don't want to give him anything close to a true #1 deal. I could see something in the 15-20 mill range, but he's not gonna want that. I kinda feel similarly with Tee Higgins, but Higgins has a little bit more upside, I think.
Truth be told, I'm not certain he's a better WR than Downs long-term. Of course, with a QB on a rookie deal, its possible they'll overspend to keep continuity.
Fantasy wise, Pittman has been a solid WR2 and that isn't gonna change this year. Minshew is a great QB for a WR like Pittman.

I agree with everything you said. Tee is a good comparison of wideouts in that range of productive but probably not number one’s. However, with a young QB Pittman may be a decent investment (more so than Higgins) based on the consistency he provides. I understand both sides of the fence. I have not seen him play much so most of my opinion is based off what I read and stats. Matt Harmon for example was very complimentary of him. It will be interesting to see what plays out.

He didn’t look woozy as he went to the locker room. He may be back next week. Hell, Mattison didn’t miss the next game after his concussion.

True, a few guys haven’t missed a game but it seems much more often than these days, players sit at least a week after being concussed.

This is brutal. Already had Mike Williams, Tank Dell, and Kendrick Bourne on my bench injured. Now I need to worry if Mike Pittman, Jamar Chase, and Jayden Reed will be able to play in the championship for me. I honestly might not be able to even field a full team if they are all out. Good thing Diggs has been lighting it up for me this year

I would prefer Downs but you could do worse than Pierce. He is slooooowly trending up.
He does get 1 extra day to get ready, so perhaps that makes a difference. Tough to sit if he plays.
If he is active he has to be in the lineup. It's not like a high ankle sprain where he won't have his usual mobility. I haven't seen anybody cleared from a concussion be hindered on the field because of it. If he is active/cleared start him as usual.

The updates have been positive.
Reportedly he never lost consciousness.
Not every injury is the same. Concussions have degrees. Sometimes a hard hit looks like it killed a dude but they’re fine. Sometimes an innocuous looking tackle has a player honk their head on the grass and they miss 3 weeks.
Pittman seems to have dodged a bullet here, (though not a dirty hit)
