That seems excessive. Why stop at that? Posters who go way over the line should be drawn and quartered, and the event shown live on YouTube TV.
Are you kidding me? I’ve spent the last seven hours searching for the occupational licensing reform thread.***** five stars on the imaginary thread titles.
I suspect that folks who believe there was nothing wrong with the President calling never Trumpers human scum are having a hard time understanding the new guidelines.Yep. See Trump's Twitter feed for tips and tricks.
Edit: yeah, you might not want to do that.
Can I draft Tim on the First to get Suspended Bingo card? It’s pretty easy to post stuff that doesn’t complain about other people or the moderators or being suspended. It’s pretty easy not to be rude to anyone here, and not to make offensive comments.

How about gardening?.9 and 10![]()
Long overdue.
When I am suspended I will not start a journal.
Gardening sucks. Why would I want to spend my time growing my own vegetables when I could devote that time to market labor instead, and use my earned income to buy vegetables grown by someone with a lower opportunity cost? I like @Maurile Tremblay, but I'm disappointed that he's flagrantly disregarding the importance of comparative advantage. How about gardening?.
Maurile, I think he’s asking Joe to suspend you. Is that suspension worthy?Yep, it seems to be working. Those that can't figure out the rules just won't post. Those that know the rules and break them, will be suspended. Those that know the rules and follow them will post appropriately.
@Joe Bryant, you should give @Maurile Tremblay a raise. (and maybe a few extra days of paid vacation, he may need it)
Fresh vegetables from the garden picked ripe taste better than vegetables picked at a mass farm unripe and ripened en route on a truck.Gardening sucks. I knew I wasn't alone!Am i the only one wondering where those two interesting threads are?
The shark move is just like what you should do with a boat or a pool. Have a close relative or good friend who has one - reap all the benefits without any of the sowing.Fresh vegetables from the garden picked ripe taste better than vegetables picked at a mass farm unripe and ripened en route on a truck.
You can’t factor quality difference in to a pure economics calculation.
Neighbor has a garden...they always plant too many cucumbers and tomatoes. I get free fresh cucumbers and tomatoes. The shark move is just like what you should do with a boat or a pool. Have a close relative or good friend who has one - reap all the benefits without any of the sowing.
WatNeighbor has a garden...they always plant too many cucumbers and tomatoes. I get free fresh cucumbers and tomatoes.
Though, the tomatoes they might as well throw in the trash...such an awful fruit/vegetable. Well...I love stuff with tomatoes, just not a fan of just raw tomatoes other than in good salsa. And the whole peeling them and the texture just isn't good. Also a bit pretentious...its not a vegetable its really a fruit or a berry. Vile weed.
Raw tomatoes (like people who just eat a slice of one...or diced raw tomatoes on tstuff) suck.
Good....and I hope that not only does Joe approved, it was something he came up with.It worked maybe because many posters are overly cautious fearing that they will be suspended because they don't adequately grasp the parameters of the new rules. It is one strike and you're out and then read a book (according to you) until the one, two, three, four or five+ week until the suspension is over.
Did Joe approve your new rule trial period that you are running a victory lap over?
We should be so lucky to have a Southeast Asia Diplomatic Policy thread....@Maurile Tremblay would it be ok to post about ignoring an individual in the Southeast Asia Diplomatic Policy thread?
No. The condescending, "I have ____________ on ignore" shtick is lame and kind of pathetic. Don't do it.@Maurile Tremblay would it be ok to post about ignoring an individual in the Southeast Asia Diplomatic Policy thread?
Thanks, I'll keep my nose clean in Calvin Coolidge: A Critique.No. The condescending, "I have ____________ on ignore" shtick is lame and kind of pathetic. Don't do it.
They’re not booing, they’re saying “Cooooooooooolidge”.Thanks, I'll keep my nose clean in Calvin Coolidge: A Critique.
An yet he did seem to have a bit of fun with his sternness, and nothing wrong with that.Yup. Maurile didn't spend time on this for fun.
Perhaps just the good old fashioned guillotine? Would shorten the pain and misery. That seems excessive.
Probably the best execution method. Should bring it back.Perhaps just the good old fashioned guillotine? Would shorten the pain and misery.
Personally I an a fan of keel hauling or pressing. Of course your definition of best and mine may differ. You may be going for swift, sure, certain, and relatively painless. I am not.Probably the best execution method. Should bring it back.
Sure. If the government is going to kill people, those are good criteria to use.Personally I an a fan of keel hauling or pressing. Of course your definition of best and mine may differ. You may be going for swift, sure, certain, and relatively painless. I am not.

If true this will be easy for me as the list of candidates is truly long.@Maurile Tremblay is the best.
I've long said the key to life is surrounding yourself with people smarter / better / more capable than yourself.
Maurile's a great example of that for me.
Of course. At the risk of incurring the Wrath of Mod - that is not what he is referring to...
(Its a bit of humor referencing non-existent threads mentioned up-thread)
The rules seem both comprehensive and clear for what constitutes a violation and what the punishment will be. I see no reason why these won't solve the issues which has plagued this place.@Maurile Tremblay is the best.

I'll be sure never to whine about a pissing contest that hasn't been seen by the moderators yet in our topic about the Roman Senate.Of course.
We're saying don't do it. Period. Even when you think it's a bit of humor.
I suspect there will be a lot of reporting In the beginning. I hope they don’t get frustrated with the volume.Seriously, I think this approach to moderation is probably what this forum needs.
Sure. But, for the record - thats not what Hags said here. It was a light-hearted reference to a non-existent thread. He was not talking about actually ignoring any poster by name or otherwise. The humor was the important-sounding thread, that probably would be an interesting topic, but it does not exist.Of course.

Like what HF said@Henry Ford there's nothing like fresh veggies from your garden. But its an odd time of year to start planting in the Northeast.Gardening sucks. I think the moment has passed; let us reconvene in Seventeeth Century Spies: Enlightened Espionage.Sure. But, for the record - thats not what Hags said here. Sorry Hags - i'll let it drop. I find your style of humor to be just the antidote to take the edge off an otherwise tense atmosphere. We need more light-heartedness in the world.I'll be sure never to whine about a pissing contest that hasn't been seen by the moderators yet in our topic about the Roman Senate.
