#### I forgot about Double Dragon. Also, I to liked the godfather game.
I loved The Godfather. I would spend countless time just driving around the map listening to the theme music. :bag: Stoned, of course.
I loved The Godfather too. One of the best, most underrated games ever for the 360. King Kong and The Godfather might be the best $5 games you'll ever buy.
Speaking of the Godfather game, I remember that there was supposed to be a Dirty Harry game that was being made around that time. I wonder if it would have been as good as the Godfather game turned out.

Scarface was along the same lines and extremely enjoyable, IMO. I know its a GTA knockoff, but there is "something" about being a part of those characters.

What I played of Scarface, it didn't quite have the quality the Godfather had.

Is the legend of Zelda: the adventure of link the most disappointing game ever?
That title for me belongs to Super Mario Bros. 2, the US version. Followed by Trespasser.I actually liked Zelda II
I actually like super Mario 2. I never could get a feel for what the hell I was supposed to do in Zelda 2.
I like Super Mario 2. It's certainly not the worst official Super Mario game (I think Sunshine is). But it's the one that disappointed me the most. The game was near impossible to find when it released and when I finally got it and played it, it just didn't feel right. And then the ending made it worse.

All my games are chosen for their storyline, co-op experience, and/or multiplayer.Top 5:1. Diablo II: Lord of Destruction (mult/co-op) I was involved in a community somewhat like FBGs for this game for 4-5 years and it brought me through some dark times and those people and the game were always there.2. BioShock (story) Lights off, sound up, find as many audio logs possible and enjoy a fantastic story and world.3. Gears of War 1-3 (mult/co-op/story) The gears story isn't the best out there but I have beat the first two on insane 5+ times and the third 3 times on insane with other FBGs and now my girlfriend. So over the repeat playthroughs I have grown attached to the story and the banter that occurred while playing rekindled good memories. Oh yeah, the competitive multiplayer is top notch.4. The Walking Dead (story) The best story I have played since BioShock. I loved the 1990s throwback adventure gameplay that is missed nowadays due to the instant gratification that most gamers want now.5. Portal 1&2 (co-op/story) The game is so fun, unique, and smart that its addictive and one of the few games I wish I could forget everything I know about the gameplay and start fresh everytime. And Glados is awesome.Honorable MentionsBorderlands 1-2 Mass Effect Dead Space Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Spec Ops: The Line (very underrated storyline)Lost OdysseyFinal Fantasy IXFinal Fantasy IIIShadow Hearts 1&2Legend of the DragoonFallout 3Mario Kart 64Goldeneye

So odd... I have a funny story about this. There was a Caldor (80's retail store in the north east) in my town. They actually got a shipment of SMB2 games at the end of October but they weren't supposed to put the game out on the floor till the official release date the week of thanksgiving. Well i guess someone screwed up bad because the put them out early and I BEGGED my mom to buy me one, and she did. Well i went to (middle) school the next day and said I had a copy and nobody believed me. The next day I went in with just the box and I must have had 15 guys come over my house after school just to play and it was more or less like that for a week till my mom got pissed. The day that I brought the Box into school my best friend went to the store with his Mom and tried to buy the game and that's when the manager told him the story. He told my friends mom that "He would really appreciate it" if he could get me to come back and return the game. "they might get fined by NES.... blah blah". His mom told my mom, but I threw a fit and she knew there would be hell to pay if she even thought about it (and yes, my friend was at the caldor to witness the manager asking)

In my mind Metroid was the first game that you really needed a guide to play the game with. Zelda II was the second. I really liked the game because I was a video game nerd and i knew how to get though Death Mountain and to use that spell in that town..... if you didn't know these little things you would have no chance.

BioshockFallout 2Link to the PastDiablo II KOTORMass Effect trilogyFinal Fantasy IX Sid Meiers Pirates! Morrowind/Oblivion/SkyrimVampire the Masquerade: BloodlinesBloodlines was an incredible game that got zero support post release and was shipped buggy as hell. The community slowly fixed it. Amazing game. Pirates obviously doesn't hold up at this point but playing that on a Commodore 64 25 years ago was amazing. Ahead of it's time. Everything else is pretty standard or standard enough.

How could I forget DKC. Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2 (and a lesser extent 3) were some of the best platformers on the SNES. That includes SMW.

Your post jogged my memory and I realized I forgot....Rainbow Six: Rogue SpearThis is one of the first multiplayer games that I played with not only superb play control, realistic game play, but also had a strong mod community. This was still during the days of dial up.

I played Delta Force a lot during those days. Right around the turn of the century when some people were getting BB. I still was stuck with dial up and shooting a guy 5 feet in front of him to get the kill.

Since there has been a decent amount of interest in this thread I'm going to toss a link to my video game draft proposal thread here. We only had four people originally sign up and I don't expect it to fill now but I'll start it up whenever we gather enough interest in the future. :nerd:

Will my old nes or super nes work on today's Tvs?
LOL, yes, why wouldn't it?
 I thought I read you needed some type of adapter or something.
AV cables or a coaxial are still on the new tvs. But like others said, the resolution is awful because of the size. NES and SNES weren't made for the new fangled stuff. If you have an old tube tv laying around, hook that bad boy up.

Minnesota Twins here....you?
Well, sure.. but I was fond of running up the score with the NL All-Stars. :bag: Get Galarraga and Pedrique out. Murphy and Gwynn in. I don't remember the scores, but I'm sure there were some in the 50s.

Tried it. Too laggy even with a good connection. Never could get a good game even with my friend who loves Tenchu as much as me. Another game that wasn't really meant for multiplayer. I did play the split screen co-op and it wasn't as bad. The combo kills were fun. Didn't feel very stealthy though.
