All that being said, I have everything I had on Xfinity channel wise
Unless Xfinity is markedly different in your neck of the woods, this just isn't true. Xfinity had the MLB and NHL networks. YouTube TV doesn't.
Perhaps you meant to say you have everything you
wanted from Xfinity.
I do similar, with the added perk that my son moved out of state a couple of years ago and he can use the service to watch the local sports teams
Do you mean he's got access to the local versions of the major networks (i.e., your hometown CBS and Fox that show the local teams)? Or does your version of YouTube have a regional sports network as well. (FYI, Xfinity carried our regional sports network. I supplement YouTube with a standalone subscription to it now.)
Don't get me wrong, YouTube TV is still better than Xfinity pricewise. I also like the 2x2 box with college football and basketball games, the DVR capabilities and some other features. But it's refusal to carry some pretty major channels irks me. I know they carry the NFL network. I'm not sure if they carry the NBA (never had any reason to look). But missing NHL and MLB sucks donkey balls.
