Zach Sudfeld - TE Pats (1 Viewer)

FWIW, I went Sudfeld over Finley at the last minute. Finley may have a higher floor but Sudfield, IMO, had the higher upside. Bills have already lost a few players in the secondary and NE should score plenty... and they won't let up if they happen to get out to a comfortable lead.

I don't think Sudfeld has a high catch volume type day, but I think he finds the end zone once, which was the difference for me.

Going with him over Cameron as my flex. Cameron having a nicked groin and Miami's traditional toughness against tight ends was the difference.

Have him in at Flex over L.Miller and J.Cameron in a 1.5ppr for TE league. Starting to think i should put Miller in.....
Well, I left Sudfeld in , looks like 1point for his tackle he got.

On the bright side, L.Miller only got 1.5points, so either way i was "wrong"

funny thing happened in my dynasty league - I had Gronk as my only TE, and was targeting Sudfeld in our rookie draft, only to see someone, who already had a couple of TEs, grab him before me. I drafted Thomas instead. :coffee:

Sure, but I don't see how hell be any more valuable next week after he lost a bit of a trust from Brady and the caching staff today and with one week closer to Gronk's return. And this is coming from someone who drafted Gronk/Sudfeld in one league and started Sudfeld today.

Can anyone confirm whether he played again after he slipped and caused that INT? I don't recall seeing him in the game after that.

This entire situation is a joke. Lets sit our best TE at the moment bc he slipped. Billicheat is the only coach I know who consistently benches guys for the rest of the game for making a mistake. Same thing happened to Ridley. Did what Ridley do last year have no weight at all today after he fumbled? Sure as heck didn't see where Mallett played after Brady's lost fumble?!?! Guys do not learn sitting on the bench stewing about a mistake and letting negative thoughts take over their day instead of getting the opportunity to rectify their situation. F'ing Billicheat.

A. Who says he was their best TE?

B. Sitting Ridley, and playing more of Vereen, seemed like a pretty good move.

Best TE isn't saying much. Last I checked UDFA's aren't generally thought much of since 32 other teams passed on them for 7 rounds.

What round was Arian Foster taken in again? He's the best TE they have right now. No?

I'm up for the challenge and am eagerly waiting on the call.

I think someone was all in on Fanduel today and had Ridley and Sudfield on their squad.

Seriously though, they won the game and Amendola and Vereen looked good. Rookies are going to have ups and downs and they all did.

Nope to FanDuel. Just a guy making sense of it all. Or at least attempting to.

LOL at being mad that an NFL coach doesn't make decisions based on helping your fantasy team.

"LOL" at your handle, "Peyton Marino", but I digress. But to waste my time and answer your reply, I don't have Ridley on any of my teams. I have Sudfield on one of my teams. My point was valid and factual whether you agree with it or not. And if anybody else wants to disagree with me (which is fine) how about making some sound reasoning instead of wasting time with "look at me" posts?

You have to admit, getting hired as an NFL coach would be a sweet deal for you.

Ridley was benched because he fumbled twice. It's not that uncommon for a coach to do so.

Hoo was probably their best TE yesterday.

I was annoyed he didn't get more work. Brady was grumpy he missed that one; very obvious on TV. Brady wasn't himself and IIRC the announcer said first fumble in two years. Brady wasn't himself and I think all the Pats had issues yesterday. Edelman is praised in papers this morning, but I saw him drop at least two that were gimmes. Amendola didn't look so great in the second quarter before he got hurt.

I doubt Sudfeld is going to stand out as "the one" that played poorly. Next week is a new week for all of them.

Caughlin did the same thing last night. Pretty common actually.

Same thing happened to Ridley. Did what Ridley do last year have no weight at all today after he fumbled?
Vereen, in replacing Ridley, provides at least equal ability rushing and far more ability in the passing game. Its easy to make that decision when your next guy up is just as good and potentially more explosive than the one you are benching.

Sure as heck didn't see where Mallett played after Brady's lost fumble?!?!
really? I mean...REALLY?

Too funny, man.

Sudfield was not impressive, but perhaps just as disconcerting is that we learned there's probably another guy ahead of him in the pecking order that we weren't counting on - Edelman.
