And Gase playing Flacco at 0-8 instead of the looking wasted 5th rd pick...they deserve to lose the #1...jax knows how to tankAll the recievers in, darnold out.
Seems about right
Did you see Flacco's last game? The rookie might have a better shot of winning. And Gase playing Flacco at 0-8 instead of the looking wasted 5th rd pick...they deserve to lose the #1...jax knows how to tank
The Jets don't like using rookie or 2nd year quarterbacks even when the situation calls for it.And Gase playing Flacco at 0-8 instead of the looking wasted 5th rd pick...they deserve to lose the #1...jax knows how to tank
I surely think the rookie gives them the better chance to win - I would like to see him in play though just to see what he has.Did you see Flacco's last game? The rookie might have a better shot of winning.
I found it a good catch. He was falling backwards near the sideline but still reached out and grabbed the ball and did not land out of bounds.Watched the Mims highlights. Didn't see what everyone else is seeing. I saw a ball that basically landed in his hands while he was falling back. No swim move to get around the defender to the inside, nor a high point of the ball. Just sort of fell into his hands while he fell backwards.
He looks gangly and awkward. That is all I've got today.
Again, I hope to all heaven he doesn't bust, both for the good of the Jets and good of my 2.04 that I picked him with in a dynasty league (Tee Higgins And Brandon Aiyuk were still available. Oof.)
Yeah, it wasn't bad, but people were really excited about it. I thought he should have come back over the defender and high pointed it. Otherwise, it was a decent play for sure for a rookie.I found it a good catch. He was falling backwards near the sideline but still reached out and grabbed the ball and did not land out of bounds.
I took the Pats -10.No Sam and no Q tonight. Just gotta hope that Flacco doesn't have a turn back the clock kind of night and we should be one week closer to the ultimate goal.
So far the defenses are rising to the challenge and giving up lots of yards. This is how bad the Jets are: Normally I look forward to MNF every week as a way to cap/cement the week in the record books. I have a water or two, some snacks, and generally have a good time of it.
Tonight I'm considering not even watching my favorite team because I know first-hand how awful the product is. And I'm somebody who will watch the 1-7 Jaguars do battle with the lowly Texans because D.J. Chark is on my dynasty team and I have a vested interest in the outcome. But tonight, all I have are theoreticals and would-bes because I won't start any of the three guys I have from this God-forsaken game at this God-forsaken time.
Truly one for the ages of awfulness. I'll be surprised if the teams don't combine for less points offensively than the combined D/ST scores. Blech!

Very likely. It is still possible for the Jets to finish in 3rd place with a 2-14 record. Trevor Lawrence to the Patriots, anybody?
And all three WRs are healthyFlacco has had all night to stand there and throw. Would be nice if Sam ever got this kind of protection...lol
Yes very "Jet like" that for the first time all season, the Jets have their full compliment of weaponry for Sam to play with finally and yet he's hurt and we can't see and evaluate how he'd be doing. Un friggen real!!And all three WRs are healthy
He's probably thinking about hitting the massage parlor after the game. They just showed kraft and i swear to god he was smiling under that mask.....so clear
Holy smokes. Add a few more gray hairs that I didn't need.We did it!!
