Posters should be responsible for the lies they tell. At least those that repeat lies and spread misinformation after misinformation, continually.Quit with the falsehoods. Stick to the subject and not about the poster.
As the moderators can’t disallow blatant and repeated lies, falsehoods, propaganda, and misinformation, it is up to this community to police itself and point out when another lie is being told - especially when told by a source that has been proven to use lies and other such tactics repeatedly.
That way, those who may not know of the illegitimate nature of the source and the likelihood that the poster in question is probably forwarding more lies, can make a more informed judgement after absorbing and reflecting upon said poster’s comments.
One of the reasons I’m not a Democrat is the lack of focus on personal responsibility. I’d think someone who aligns with the right would understand the need for taking responsibility for one’s actions, and be proud to hold themselves up to that same standard for which they hold others, accountable.
** By pointing out these illegitimate behaviors, one is not focusing on the poster, but rather the behavior and actions of that poster. It’s not a judgement call good/bad. It’s speaking the reality of the situation (that some posters perpetuate lies and propaganda, as a repeated pattern - as the intent of propaganda is to deflect, confuse, conflate, it’s essential that those who trade in such dirty tactics are held accountable for those behaviors of spreading lies and misinformation. Sadly, this must be done with our President who is a proven liar, and as folks hold his feet to the fire to hold him accountable for those lies and propaganda, so too must we in our everyday lives be vigilant and do the same).
