By far my favorite guitarist ever, really got me into rock and learning to play the guitar albeit poorly.
No doubtOnly Hendrix had a greater influence on how the electric guitar is played. RIP -
Band of my youth even during Hagar years it's almost all that played in my house. Really really sucks. My favorite band. Such a bummer.
This is going to sting a bit. Killer guitar player and huge influence on most of my favorite bands from the 80s. Ugh.This is definitely getting to me. More a statement of just where we are at in life and that anyone that was a teenager in the 80s is probably starting to feel a little old.
He really influenced a lot of modern guitar players.
Not sure if he was truly a "prodigy" but he won a couple of piano competitions when he was a kid. Before he picked up the guitar, wasn't he also an insane level piano prodigy as a youth?
I think he was an OK painist. Played mostly by earBefore he picked up the guitar, wasn't he also an insane level piano prodigy as a youth?
This one is right at the top for a lot of the demographic of FBGs I'd imagine.Famous people dying don't usually affect me too much.
This one stings a little
Literal chills at the sound of those keys.
I may have this slightly off, but IIRC when they started out (pre-Mammoth) it was Eddie on drums and Alex on guitar. Before he picked up the guitar, wasn't he also an insane level piano prodigy as a youth?
Probably my favorite from the later key sound:Literal chills at the sound of those keys.
