Just let them process automatically.. after that all owners can see them ..go to Reports Tab > Franchise > Previously Processed Waivers... there you can see all the waivers, even the ones they put in that they did not win.
I always thought it would be a good idea to add up the regular season records for a certain amount of years, and then have a Big Winner. This would make every week important especially early on and one bad season will not necessarily kill your chance at the big money.
We've done blind bidding for a few years now, really dont see the point. If the rosters are a decent size, then basically you are going to get max 1 "marquee breakout pickup" a season, so spend 85-90% of your money on who you think that 1 person is.. the rest of the time you will just be...
Really all depends on your scoring... your league drafting tendencies.
In our league QBs & RBs basically score the same and the drafting trend has progressively gotten very QB heavy.. this year 15 qbs went in the 1st 2 rounds... the guy who went RB-RB- WR got Chris Johnson/Mendenhall/ Randy...
Your draft is ruined because they are taking good players.. isn't that how everybody's draft is ruined?.. basically you are upset they are not "reaching" and leaving you the best player on the board
We have a start 2 qb league for the last 10 years.. and in our league if you pass on a QB at 1, you can count on everyone else having at least 1 qb some may have 2 qbs before you pick again... it will be about even for qbs & rbs... then 1 or 2 wrs gone in the first 2 rounds
You can still use phone or email.. you would just need to "prove" the time it was received if there was ever a question.
But let the website do 99.999999% of the work.
Devrey's hands are TERRIBLE.. he just cant catch that is his problem.. had the same issues at LSU, I swear every time he did actually catch it he bobbled it first, I was amazed he was a 2nd round pick.
Simple ..spend a lot early, but save enough for fillers & injury pickups late.
All the players worth having will be gone early, no need for big money late.
If you wanted to make a change to the draft, why not just have the members vote on it, there is plenty of time to have a vote.
In the preseason all you need more than 1/2 the owners to vote to make the change.
Depends on the scoring set up and the league dynamics.
We have our scoring set up where the basically 2qbs=2rbs=3wrs/te, that was the goal during the setup. IMO this makes the draft more interesting (for redraft leagues) because you can actually use different strategies (not just rb-rb-rb) and...
We have been using it for a few years...it was good to start but now it is OK..really not that effective, I am thinking just limiting the adds would be more effective
Say you have 100$ in bid money...thhere is really only one or two highly sought after players a year....not even sure who falls...
Just FYI.. in Yahoo FF..once you are in your league.. click on the "players" tab in the center.... then there is a tab to the left that shows the "stat corrections"..make sure you click on the correct week
