The " Perfect Song" thread got me thinking of this, figured it was done before, but couldn't find anything via search.

Queen was all over the map in musical styles, I'm sure everyone has a favorite, whether or not it was popular. I'll try to add more to the poll , as I'm sure I will miss some.

Eta- creating a poll via phone is brutal. Not sure what happened to question 3.

I went with "Under Pressure," but may have gone with "other" if that was an option... I always liked "'39" and "I'm in Love with My Car."

Don't Stop Me Now

I really dig their up-tempo songs like this that just seem to really get the heart racing.

I give honorable mention to Seven Seas of Rhye and Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy.

As far as the "popular" ones, I think Crazy Little Thing Called Love is a lot of fun to sing, so I will give that the nod.

I don't like Queen & I'm not a fan most of what this band cranked out, but Under Pressure is legit.. but then again David Bowie balanced out Phreddie Mercury's flair for the dramatic :D

So many good ones, it'd probably change as I was listening to different ones. Gonna give some love to Hammer to Fall here.

Sometimes a band's most popular and well-known song really is their best song, and I think that is the case with Queen and Bohemian Rhapsody.

Much love, too, for '39, Hammer to Fall, One Vision, Liar, Tie Your Mother Down and countless great songs from Sheer Heart Attack.

One of the best bands ever.

Easy - "You're My Best Friend". It was my wedding song.

The marriage didn't last, but the friendship did.

Other - Dragon Attack

Queen has so many great songs it is really hard to make a call here but this has been one of my favorite since I bought the Vinyl in 1980

They have a bunch of great songs that never get (or got) much radio play.

My favorite is "It's Late" from "News of the World". Very underrated song.

Queen during that tour in 1978 was the first and best concert I have ever seen. Too incredible to put into words.

Figure here was as good a place to put this about Freddy, true or not, it fits!
Queen's Brian May recalls that Mercury could hardly walk when the band recorded "The Show Must Go On" in 1990. "I said, 'Fred, I don't know if this is going to be possible to sing,' " May says. "And he went, 'I'll ####### do it, darling' — vodka down — and went in and killed it, completely lacerated that vocal."

At the very least, it's the story Brian May has been telling for quite some time.

Queen was my first favorite current rock band.

Also the first band I saw in concert, at the Chicago Stadium.

So for me, this is a classic case of . . . I couldn't possibly pick just one.

For just about any other person, I'd have my doubts as to the truth behind a story like this, but thats ultimate Freddie Mercury type of reaction to this situation.

22/25 songs in the poll got at least 1 vote

10 votes "other"

Not sure how many bands have a catalog and diversity in fan favorites that can match Queen. Beatles, Floyd, Beach Boys?. Maybe Zep and the Stones, although I don't think they have the diversity, would be more lopsided to a few songs. Pearl Jam might have the diversity, just not sure it would be this much.

No idea what my point is, other than the range of amazing songs from Queen is huge.

Plus, Brian May is about as classy as it gets when it comes to rock stars, and I can't see him making a story like that up.

Not a big fan of Queen but they do have a few songs that I love. I voted for Fat Bottomed Girls over Stone Cold Crazy.
