Yeah, that was like 5 yards offside. I thought they had gotten away from letting those play.

Haven't seen so many loose balls in the box since Skrtel left.

And VvD has generally been sloppy since the start of last season.  Balls he used to control or find teammates with are either scrambles or turnovers.  It's not all that many games since he missed most of last season, but he hasn't been anywhere near as dominant as he was in 18/19 and 19/20.

The passing as a whole was off, too, but especially when they won the ball back. And some of this is on Klopp…TAA had 3 guys crashing his side the entire second half. Some adjustments should have been made. 
 

all that said, one filthy save on Jota from going up 2 goals and a different game.

Ansu Fati is finally back playing for the Blaugrana.  Such an entertaining and dangerous attacker to watch.  Hope he stays healthy.

He went full Rashford with the selfish play on a few occasions.  I love the confidence to shoot from a striker, but sometimes shooting through 3 defenders (or trying to dribble them all like Rash does) is not good, esp when you have Bruno or Ranaldo open for a tap in.

United did not deserve to win with that performance.  Greenwood selfish, Bruno skying multiple shots, Fred poor, Maguire Poor, Pogba better in the 2nd half then the 1st.  BUT, Villa's goal should not have stood either.  Player offside interfering with De Gea at the time of the header.  Not sure what VAR is watching these days.

 
this City PSG game is an absolute master class from both sides. I'm sitting here thinking nothing can deflate the boner, but then then I was forced to remember Neymoronics.

 
I don’t know why you guys are slumming it with this Champions League nonsense when you could be watching Ipswich drop a 6-burger on Doncaster.
