It took me well over a year to complete the main story line in Oblivion. I'm lucky if I get 2 hours on a Saturday night these days, but I'll admit I was up til 4 or 5 some mornings playing that game.It took me a while to get into Fallout 3, and when I finally did I had a hard time staying interested. Basically the same engine as Oblivion, but set in a "modern" world.I can appreciate these games as landmarks in narrative design but I don't have the time or patience to play a 20+ hour game anymore. If I can fit a game of FIFA or a 5 lap race in, it's a pretty good session for me.Whenever I hear you guys talk about these games I feel like I'm seriously missing out, but I bought an Xbox and have tried playing Bioshock, Fallout 3, etc... I can't get into them for more than a few minutes before I start feeling like I'd rather be doing something else. I've decided to sell the thing as it's just collecting dust.Best game ever. I never played the first 2.Another dimension of nerdery.Looking for a new game. Should I pick up Fallout 3? I've had my eye on it for a while, but part of my concern is that I haven't played the first two. Does that affect the experience at all?![]()

I've tried getting into Orange Box, Grand Theft Auto, and some other games, but just don't have the time/patience anymore.
