2007 NBA DRAFT - ODEN and PORTLAND CRIPPLED (1 Viewer)

Seattle probably getting Durant at #2, and the best thing for them is they won't have to pay Rashard Lewis the big contract as a free agent, and they can just plug in Durant.

I have had it with the Celtics... Losing Duncan, trading Billups, Ainge making horrible trades and moves, extending Rivers, tanking a season only to end up at #5 and not getting a franchise player. I hope we trade Pierce just for his own good so he can go to a good team, he deserves it... Ainge has screwed the pooch while running this team. Horrible.

Wow!Oden and Aldridge in the front court with Brandon Roy on the perimeter! Sick!
Is there any chance Portland doesn't take Oden with Aldridge/Randolph (and his contract) already there ?
None what so ever. Oden and Alridge is an all world basketfall front court.
That's what I figured....Portland certainly looks to be on the way back.WTF is J.Barry talking about ? They need veteran guys ??? They are rebuilding, and have a chance to add a big time center prospect. The Western Conference just got even stronger.

They still take Oden IMO, but I'm wondering if they are going to try to give away Randolph now.
They should take Durant. Sergio Rodriguez didn't garner a lot of press but he'll be a top 10 PG in the NBA within 3 years imo.RodriguezRoyDurantRandolphAldridgeThats a championship calibre team imo in 3 years.

We don't want you anyhow. :banned: #5 is just weak though. Dang

I think they should get a legit star center rather than playing two undersized guys at 4/5, especially when one of them is as nutty as Randolph.

You don't want all young guys because their contracts will expire near the same time and you'll have to lose some of them. If they could land Garnett or Gasol it might be wise to trade it.

#1 Portland

#2 Seattle

#3 Atlanta

#4 Memphis

#5 Boston

I don't remember the rest. Chicago was #9 though.

If the Celtics don't take Conley at #5, I don't think I'll watch another game until Ainge is gone. Atleast make use of the bad luck and finally get a PG.

Oden is a perfect fit for the Blazers. trading the pick would be foolish. I think Putting Aldridge at PF really compliments Oden and gives the team a solid defensive presence inside.

I don't care how much Randolph is making, his defense is abysmal and he should be on the bench.

Aldridge is a PF, he's not really a back to the basket kid anyways. Man, Portland is going to be good.
Nothing wrong with him coming off the bench to backup both the PF and C positions initially. I'm sure Portland can deal with having Aldridge, Randolph and Oden in the front court. Trading out because Aldridge can play center makes me :lmao: Guy barely played his rookie year.

Its amazing to think that the Western Conf will add 2 more Franchise corner stone type guys to its roster.

The East has Lebron, Wade...and... ?

Portland going to get better quickly with Roy, Aldridge, and Oden.

With Aldridge and Randolph, is Oden really a lock there? PG Jack/Rodrigeuz

SG Roy

SF Udoka

PF Randolph

C Aldridge

Where exactly do you see the weakness there?
Oden is a lock at #1, IMO. I don't think Aldridge is a legit NBA center.
:lmao:
I think he's a much better 4 than a 5. Seems a little soft to play Center to me.

For Christ's sake, someone please post the order.
:lmao:
1: Portland2: Seattle

3: Atlanta

And I am picking that up by, you know, reading the thread. After that is seems was Memphis, Boston, and after that...

Agreed. It's not supposed to be career threatening, but Aldridge also was diagnosed with a heart condition and had to miss the last few weeks. With the question marks on him and Randolph, and a good wing player in Roy, you can't pass on Oden.

Why do people make silly statements like this? Not sure if you've heard of Roland Rating, but what it does is measure how much better/worse a team is with a certain player on the floor versus with him off the floor. The Trailblazers, being a bad team, only had 4 players with a positive rating:Dickau: +0.5

Roy +0.8

Aldridge: +1.8

Randolph: +8.0
