The BC loss is a bit different than a simple "slump"....that was a flat out terrible loss. I get skating by being classified that way, but that loss was brutal.

saw stat that it was the worst loss ever by a #1 ranked team, as measured by the # of losses the other team had.

First loss by a #1 at home to sub .500 since like 1954

This has to be the very definition of "looking ahead".Find it interesting that the premise was brought up for Duke...as if Duke would ever overlook UNC. They could be winless and Duke would still "get up" for that game.

Cuse definitely must've been looking ahead to the matchup with Duke...how else can you explain the worst loss in history by #1 ranked team?

Looking ahead plus an off night plus still being good enough to get a lead so they can totally relax to not getting a good bounce ( not that they for bad ones) plus not executing plus a couple bad decisions late in the game.

All that and you get an OT loss that 'Cuse still could have pulled out. However they didn't not. And did not deserve to do so.

They made a lot of shots, we didn't make many. That's pretty much it. We've had our head in the clouds since the Duke game, then Ennis hits the shot against Pitt and heads go from the clouds to the stratosphere. We'll see what happens Saturday. Hopefully Duke wins tonight and we at least give them a game. Plenty of time left to right the ship. Season starts four weeks from today.

Starting out in UNC's favor...they're hustling and fighting...shots are going down...but Duke starting to find a groove.

I would be PISSED if I were sitting behind one of those giant faces or full body images that people are holding up in the crowd.

Hood doesn't get enough credit in my opinion...Parker is always driving to the basket and causing contact...so he commands a lot of attention but Hood is so well rounded.

I don't think so this time...Duke is starting to find rhythm and ways of scoring...

They've weathered the intensity that UNC brought to the table...I think they'll just continue to pull away now (at least...this is my HOPE!)

Still a little too thick in the mid-section. His body was much better 2 summers ago before his ankle injury. He had a lot more lift.

He has 2 fouls too. Amile has 3. Hood has 2. They can't go 4 guards against UNC so its either Semi or Josh.

Really like what I've seen from Plumlee. He can be a Zoubek type right now. I think he'll be needed if they go up against MSU or someone similar.
