Their pass rush and blitz packages will definitely be very tough, but their secondary looks bad. I am always excited for the first game, but Carr over Schaub bumps it up a notch. On the road vs Jets is no joke, but this is pretty exciting to see.

here we go....road trip in the carr
yup....and turn onto TD AVEI hope so, lol. Will Carr drive down the Streater?
Either that or the Carr is gonna stall on the Streater. Will Carr drive down the Streater?

Otherwise, I am not sure. If Watson isn't starting at some point, I will be surprised.
The Raiders kept Denarius Moore and other receivers on the final roster over former Brown Greg Little because, coach Dennis Allen said, fourth-year veteran Moore … regressed.
“D-Mo, I think, has really kind of gotten back to where he was maybe a couple of years ago when we first got here,” Allen said. “I saw a different demeanor out of Denarius Moore this year and he’s been a lot more consistent. I think he’s beginning to take that next step, which is really a positive sign.”
Moore caught two touchdown passes from rookie Derek Carr in the preseason finale Thursday to loudly cap off a consistent preseason.
“I came in here this year with the mindset that I am not going to try and control things that I really can’t control,” Moore said. “Just catch the pass. That’s something that I can control.”
Moore had 618 yards and five touchdowns in 13 games his rookie year, then 576 yards in his first eight games with Allen’s staff in 2012. But he has flashed hot and cold since.
“I was worried about being the go-to guy, building up that pressure on myself when I didn’t have to,” Moore said.
While the Raiders were intrigued by Little’s big-play ability, Allen said they also kept Brice Butler over him because he was more consistent, and Andre Holmes because he is also a key special-teams player.
After the Seahawks game, Carr spoke glowingly of Moore and joked to him why aren't you in the game all the time? Of all the receivers if would appear Carr has the best early rapport with Moore. Moore will likely still be a boom or bust type of a player but right now he seems to have the most upside amongst the Raiders receivers with Carr at the helm. James Jones played sparingly in the preseason and might not really be on the same page as Carr at least not yet. If I had to take a flyer on a raiders receiver in week one I think I'd go with Moore even if his snap count will be a bit limited. In my opinion the Raiders receiver corps needs to be re-evaluated on a weekly basis early on the season.http://blog.sfgate.com/raiders/2014/09/02/denarius-moore-bringing-different-demeanor/

I have been very critical of Moore the past couple of seasons. However, if what they say is true that Moore has matured and is taking care of business now then I don't see why he can't be a very good WR for the Raiders. After the Seahawks game, Carr spoke glowingly of Moore and joked to him why aren't you in the game all the time? Victor Cotto @cottovic 2hI appreciate this insight, but seriously, if it's all true, that seems like some sensitive game planning info that this guy is leaking to the Twittersphere. Why would the team feed him this stuff knowing he'd broadcast it?I case anyone ignores Twitter:

#Raiders like where K.Mack is at in development. They'll move him around, they'll use him well, didnt want to show too much in pre-season.

On Mack, #Raiders think they can minimize G.Smith's running w/ rookie "stalking" him, per coach. Want to play from in front to "engage him."

Walls & A.Allen are potential starters for Jets @ CB. Raiders coach told me if NY plays recently acquired Adams/McFadden, "we'll find them."

Oakland wants Carr to move through 1st two progressions, to get rookie Pryor to bite... Allen & Tarver Pryor has game-changing ability.

They want C.Pryor to move around. #Raiders have liked a lot what they've seen film on the Jets rookie safety. Want Carr's eyes to sway him.

#Raiders think going over the top v. the Jets will be possible, especially w/ play action & if early short stuff work & they begin to press.

#Raiders, want Carr early have success w/ hitches, slants, screens et so WRs can double move later & Carr use pumps etc., to have Jets FS bite

#Raiders have a couple "trick" plays installed for the #Jets game when they get into NY's side of the field. DMC as a passer, wildhog stuff.

Per source: #Raiders biggest concern iOL protection, line communication at LOS &when Carr audibles, signals & conveying of protection packages

Per source, as I told u guys sometime ago, Moore/Carr, w/ the side work & reps in camp, they feel like arm & Moore's big play ability match.

Spoke to one of my informants on #Raiders: They love D.Moore's focus, how he's practicing, how Carr & Moore have good chemistry right now.

Remember when I told you that #Raiders feel more comfy this yr w/ D.Moore, than they did last year? Well, Olson confirmed it yesterday.
While I agree with you to some extent, esp. about spelling out the actual trick plays and where on the field they will use them, in general I don't think that NFL gameplanners will be shocked by a lot of this. The Jets should expect Carr to target a rookie backfielder just as much as the Raiders know they will be seeing some tricky blitz packages from Rex Ryan to unbalance Carr.I appreciate this insight, but seriously, if it's all true, that seems like some sensitive game planning info that this guy is leaking to the Twittersphere. I'd recommend you stock up on Guinness and Jameson for tomorrow, because there are going to be #CarrBombs early and often; can't wait.Homer glasses maybe, but I think we beat the Jets.![]()
I agree, this is rehashing common expectations based on personnel. Earlier in the week Rex Ryan commented on how they were not going to be surprised by the Wildcat. Ground breaking stuff, heheh. I can't believe he cracked that code given Sparano on the staff and McFadden having a better QB rating than Geno Smith. While I agree with you to some extent, esp. about spelling out the actual trick plays and where on the field they will use them, in general I don't think that NFL gameplanners will be shocked by a lot of this. K.Mack gets 2 sacks ...a FF ...and an INTNo one is talking about Geno vs our defense, I think that might have more to do with the outcome than Carr, actually.
