Down to 7 unused, with Big Ben, Lacy, Andre Williams, and Miami D chipping in this week.Did it the hard way with the "all players" for each week. Not on my site (yet, but this is coming soon). Is there a way to look at my prior-week scoring on the site? I'm curious about my used/unused stats, but didn't track anything for the first 2 weeks.
On FBG you can easily see this, though. http://subscribers.footballguys.com/myfbg/mycontestteam.php
- 11/30 players not used yet, accounting for $103/$250 (including Big Ben, Lacy, and Cameron)
- Max cost of "used" players in any week was $93 in week 2
- So far averaging 2 points per $ spent on the players used
- Only players used each week are Bradshaw and Antonio Brown
You're safe. No way the cut line is jumping 25+ points in one game. I believe it jumped 15 or so last night, and that was with Jimmy Graham being the third-most-owned player left (behind Benjamin and Cutler), Dez being 7th (the aforementioned, plus Kelce, Ertz, and Antonio Brown), Romo being the #2 quarterback, Bailey being a top-5 kicker, and Murray, Brees, and Terrance West having solid ownership stats, too. Kelce and Edelman are the only guys owned by more than 1,000 teams that are playing tonight, and Edelman just barely makes it. Overall, Graham/Brees/Romo/Dez/Demarco/West were owned 8891 times. Brady/Gronk/Edelman/Smith/Kelce/Charles, by comparison, are owned just 5907 times among surviving teams. And nearly half of that is Kelce (44%). So even if all of the studs show well again, there's just not enough ownership stats to move the needle, especially since as more and more games go by, fewer and fewer scores wind up getting counted. What's safe? I'm at 151 with only kelce who is unlikely to help me much (-10.2)
Sadly, injuries and bye weeks didn't hurt much, my players just aren't good.
Seems like a dream scenario - can't imagine Mega and McCoy stay down forever.184, but getting 4.9 points from Mega/McCoy won't keep me in for long.
This is such a great feature. Thanks for doing this. :thumbsup:Yep, you can always see the current cutline right here: http://o.ffense.com/fbg35k/I heard a rumor the cutline is currently at 125ish
Didn't use Lacy until this week. Hunter is wasted money. Didn't expect to use stedman Bailey yet. Bortles looking like $3 well spent![]()
Here's hoping. I went with what I thought was a relatively safe qb approach (Cutler / Rivers) , two stud rbs (Forte, McCoy), then went bargain hunting at wrs. Barely beating the cut each week, but should be safe for this week. My dead money at TE sure is hurting, but that will turn around... any week from now... just hope I'm still around to see it.Spin! I just checked the contest querier and the last of our Reed/Eifert brethren have fallen to the cut line. You and I are all that remain. Which means that if we can just survive through the cuts, and if Eifert and Reed both go bonkers in the playoffs, we'll clean up*!Sounds right, I own the Eifert, Reed combo as well, their 0's are just soaking up the unused cash. You only have 1 TE start total?![]()

*well, you'll clean up at least, since I'm not eligible for prizes.
The only discrepancy in numbers I'm seeing is that you don't credit (well, debit) Roethlisberger for his -6 receiving yards (from the lateral play). QBs don't get ppr, but according to the rules, they should get receiving yards. Of course, he didn't have the reception on that play. It makes only a 0.05 change in the cut line, but of course it moves teams around at the margins.Yep, you can always see the current cutline right here: http://o.ffense.com/fbg35k/I heard a rumor the cutline is currently at 125ish

If it was ruled a lateral, the -6 yds would go against his rushing stats. The only discrepancy in numbers I'm seeing is that you don't credit (well, debit) Roethlisberger for his -6 receiving yards (from the lateral play). I wouldn't be surprised if we only saw a 5-point jump tonight. I'll go ahead and predict a final cut-line of 132.
Nope. For a lateral that comes after a forward pass, the player receiving the lateral gets receiving yards (but no reception) for any yards he accumulates past the point of the lateral. If it was ruled a lateral, the -6 yds would go against his rushing stats. The only discrepancy in numbers I'm seeing is that you don't credit (well, debit) Roethlisberger for his -6 receiving yards (from the lateral play). Not seeing it.It's in the official NFL gamebook, though. 0 receptions for -6 yards.

That's why he had negative yardage. I worded that badly: he gets receiving yards measured relative to the point of the lateral.he did not accumulate any yards past the point of the lateral - did he?Nope. Teams that would drop below the cutline:Anyway, I'll leave it as is for now and see what FBGs does with it when the official results come out tomorrow. If anyone reading this is within .1 of the cutline or whatever, keep that in mind.
I'm 12 below the cut, but have Brady, Vereen, Gostowski, and Pats D to go tonight. Imagine I'm okay, but you never know!
It most definitely saved somebody, because I was watching every time he touched the ball and it moved the cut line each time.Fun search for Iggy - did the 6.60 that James White shockingly got save any teams?

This one isn't :grimacing:This entry is still alive.![]()

So much for the "cut line is going to be low" predictions.Provisional Igomatic final cut is 137.65
