There are 40 entries that meet these criteria. 3 of them are still alive, for a survival rate of 7.5%.

I suspect that is the end of the line for me as I have too many guys that don't do anything and do nothing more than take up roster space.

Some interesting bye weeks coming up. 211 have Murray, 437 have Ben, 1208 have Benjamin, 753 have Antonio Brown.

Yeah, Week 12 is the one I've been fearing all along--Antonio, Benjamin, Wheaton and Heath Miller all seemed like too much of a bargain to pass up, even with the late bye week (actually, so was Ben, but I decided I absolutely needed 2 qbs active that week). Of course, that means I'll probably get cut this week when Dez is my only significant bye.

Sure, but that's true of the entire universe of players not on my team. Obviously he's on many rosters, but at the of the day any player I don't own hurts me w/ every point scored.And his absence on my roster is irrelevant if he wouldn't have counted. His presence in other rosters potentially hurts, but I had zippo control over that when creating my roster.

As David said, there are always players like that we leave off. It's no fun when 80% of the rosters include a player that skyrockted in value in mid August.

But I've always thought it would be fun to add some type of twist where you got bonus points or something the earlier you locked in your roster. I doubt we'd ever do it as David and Doug might kill me but that always has felt like a fun twist to me.

It's not so much that the owners will be losing out if Benjamin has a bad week (since he was so inexpensive), it's that I have a feeling a number of teams are relying on him pretty heavily just to keep making the cut. He's definitely going to have an impact, one way or the other, on the end result, but so will a lot of players.

I may not have Benjamin, but at WR alone I have Julio, A. Brown, Sanders, Randle, Sanu, and J. Brown. Sure, missing out on Benjamin for $5 isn't ideal, but I'll be okay. My team's success seems more dependent on Graham's health (Ertz is my only other TE) and getting production from Bradshaw and/or Ingram than anything else.

My goal is to keep surviving and make it to the last 250 (I've never done that before) and then just root for my guys. They've been good enough thus far to make me the 12th highest scoring team, so I figure I have as good a shot as anyone, even if I don't have Benjamin.

By eyeball method the weekly cutoff is constant at 140 approx. Based on number of enyries at what time does the cutoff start migrating upward and at what slope / increased points per week? Is flat then linear with positive slope the historical and projected cutline trend behavior?

I've said it before they really should look at DST scoring in this contest. Team gives up 9 points and gets 4 fantasy points doesn't seem right. Just like last week they had a shut out and scored something like 12 points.
