I'm 10 points below cut this week for first time all year. I do have about 9 of my 19 players left to go so feel ok. Kind of weird feeling to be this far under though. Good luck to everyone today gonna be interesting.

9.0 points for Sturgis. Not gangbusters but it's okay as a floor.

yep. Fins D could have done better too, but not a horrible start.
I've said it before they really should look at DST scoring in this contest. Team gives up 9 points and gets 4 fantasy points doesn't seem right. Just like last week they had a shut out and scored something like 12 points.
That's been the scoring for defenses since the first year of the contest. It's not likely to change. You just have to use that knowledge in picking your team.

Yes, but I agree that it should change. Big play heavy scoring is usually even more luck dependent.

Yep. Scoring rules have changed over the years. Rules are what they are, just saying it's a little silly the way top kickers outside top DSTs even when DSTs have shoutouts.

A little unusual this week as most of my guys have already played - Could easily improve my tight end score with either Ertz or more likely Rivera and could increase the PK score with Vinatieri, but sitting mid 150s currently.

Good luck to all remaining!

Don't have a warm fuzzy feeling. I needed the monster Sanders was clearly en route to having. 77.2, 51ish below the cut line. I've got quite a bit left (QB, WR2, both flexes at 0), but I'm obviously in trouble.

Hate these late games where the cutoff closes in on you.

We must have thinned the herd of junk entries the last two weeks.

Can't imagine the Titans making much of an impact but the Colts, pats and Steelers certainly could. My 15 point cushion is not the least bit comfortable.

I'm more or less finished at 170, unless Big Ben can displace 24 or Sankey 12 or Vinatieri 11. None individually are likely but maybe I can get 1 of the 3 to add a couple points. I'm nervous that the cut line could move 30. There are some heavily owned highly productive players still yet to play,

160.00

+ Luck minus 0

+ White :lmao: minus 16.70 or 17.50

+ Wheaton minus 16.70 or 24.30

+ Pittsburgh minus 4.00

Cautiously optimistic.

I hope I'm running a bunch of you down, but I'm not feeling it. I have a chance. I've booked:

16.7/14.5 at RB1 and 2

21.2 at WR1

11.5 at TE

16 at PK

8 at Def

Everything else is currently 0. I have Ben, Hilton, Lafell, Hunter, Miller left as far a anyone having a semi-real chance of mattering. Not looking good for the home team but hope springs eternal.

I need another Monday night miracle too. Or Sun night.

Have Edelman and Wayne adding to my total for 2nd half, and Brown - 7, but am a big 17 behind the cutline.

113 + (Ben) + (Miller/Hunter/Washington/Shonn - 5.4/9.2/9.5).

We know Ben can throw 6 TDs in a game. I've watched the Titans all season and I know they can give up 6 passing TDs in a game. Figure it'll take 155 to even have a shot. That's a lot of points to get, especially in what is shaping up as possibly bad weather.

My team feels likes a Timex watch. Takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

165.80 points this week with Hunter, Wheaton and Miller going tomorrow night.

Should be enough to make the cut for Week 12 despite many of the remaining teams being Steeler-heavy thanks to Big Ben's monster weeks.

I've been rolling along this season, never in real danger of missing the cut (and putting up a few monster weeks to be at #12 overall through 10 weeks), but I need decent games from Antonio Brown (replacing 11.9 points) and/or the Pittsburgh defense (replacing 6 points) to survive, as I'm currently only 2 points over the cut line at 149.5.

I'm facing the very real possibility of missing the cut this week because of no kicker (two on byes, and one being Freese), which would really suck.

I am the cutoff team. I have Antonio Brown and Justin Hunter who need to score more than 11.9 and 9.6 Monday night. I should pickup some points, but I suspect it won't be enough. Oh well...shouldn't have taken Ray Rice.

So sad mccown and Megatron back one week two late. Went out 2 weeks ago and had stellar weeks above cutline this week and last.

Well fan duel will have to do until the playoff tourney starts in 6 weeks.

It's real close, I'm team 751 and I'm only 8.7 above the cut with Hunter or Miller -6.9 to add.

Damn. Cutoff is going to be high. So many people own Brown/Bell/Ben that the cutoff might be 160. I'm 8 under the cutoff with Brown and Titans DEF left. This could be my out week since sooo many people own Brown... Oh, well, it was a fun sweat.

The cut line is probably going to move 1/2 a point for every one point Brown scores. Crazy.

So the average team has 2.258 players (not subtracting out injured and cut guys). There's a heavy skew towards the Steelers as one would expect.

:kicksrock: this is gonna be tough unless Brown has a bad game.

Antonio Brown 47.0%

Ben Roethlisberger 27.3%

Justin Hunter 25.7%

Markus Wheaton 24.3%

Pittsburgh Steelers 20.4%

Heath Miller 19.9%

LeVeon Bell 7.1%

218 teams have Brown and Ben.

First time all season I've even been within 20 points of the cutline and I'm 2 below heading into tonight. Thanks a lot, Graham, Allen and McCoy. Good news is I still have lots of possibilities: Heath (-7.4), Brown & Wheaton (-7.8 and 11.9) and the Tenn D (-4).

I should make it this week... but I have a question: Has anyone won in the past with high dollar dead weight on their roster? Having Ball on my roster is discouraging to the point I feel I have no shot.

6.6 under with Brown/Hunter -10.4/-11.9, Ben -24, TENN -4. Not liking my odds given high ownership.
What's the minus numbers? That much behind?

I have Brown and Titans DEF with nothing back ... those are zeroes right now. That's good, I guess. 8 points total back but every point Brown and TItans DEF scores gets me points. I got a chance unless Brown lays an egg.

I'm figuring I need to get to 165 to have a shot. Brown probably really starts affecting the line at the 10-12 point range. By then he's probably replaced the WR3's. I figure Ben starts moving it heavily at about the 12-15 range. Since I'm counting on Ben for the bulk of my added points, I figure a 17-18 point impact on the line for me to get above it seems reasonable.

Or Shonn and Washington can both go off for me instead. Ha! I crack me up.

The minus numbers are how much those guys need to score before they start adding to my team score.

Should be good for this week - mid 160's with Ben/Brown/Hunter going tonight, so the likely line-movers will take me along.

Next week, though :oldunsure:

so how do you guys get the projected cutoff number?

I should have led with, NOOB ALERT!! but still, just askin...
