First time all season I've even been within 20 points of the cutline and I'm 2 below heading into tonight. Thanks a lot, Graham, Allen and McCoy. Good news is I still have lots of possibilities: Heath (-7.4), Brown & Wheaton (-7.8 and 11.9) and the Tenn D (-4).
Thank you, Heath and Antonio. Next up: surviving Week 12 without Heath, Antonio, Benjamin and Wheaton. Doesn't help that Dwayne Allen picked this week to get hurt so he can't fill one of my flex spots.

Survived the Demarco bye. I need a huge final few games from Jay Cutler. This is a huge week, cutting half of the field. I don't think I have the team to win this, but you never know.

so how do you guys get the projected cutoff number?

I should have led with, NOOB ALERT!! but still, just askin...
12-kicker guy? is that you?
not
Too bad - you would've been given a heroes welcome :)

Anyway, welcome to the thread - I'm cool with folks that realize they are still in it and check in here late :) Lots of good :grad: in here.

Appreciate the welcome! I've been tracking, just didn't know this thread existed, and too lazy to read it all.

The current cutoff can be found at http://o.ffense.com/fbg35k.

For a couple of weeks I was doing a projected cutoff for the MNF game but I haven't had time recently. But the cutoff on my site will update live during the game tonight so you'll always know where it stands.
Thanks for the link for tracking cutoff and scores, that is pretty sweet!!

Still alive, with our best weekly standings yet! Here's to a strong finish, cheers! A couple tough BYEs to get over this week, guess we'll see how many A.Brown owners survive...

After week 1, I regretted not taking Isaiah Crowell. Looks like he could be a great X factor for the 43 owners remaining.

Couldn't survive Sanders' injury, Murray's bye, 2/3rds of my QBs on bye, Hilton's turd, and Ben's turd all at the same time. Even w/ all that I managed 141, which isn't terrible. Just needed suppressed scoring elsewhere and didn't get it.

Is there a way to lookup the lowest season long high score for the teams still alive? I want to see how weak my team really is. I haven't scored above 190 all season, but as the contest goes on I seem to like my squad more and more.
This guy is still alive, and his highest score all year was 174.05. That's the lowest of all the remaining live teams.

There are 104 live teams that haven't scored 190+ all year.
He made it by 0.4 this week (160.60)

-QG

I've got Demarco Murray, Jimmy Graham, Jeremy Hill and Ingram. Only team left with those four. I'll need a huge end of the year for these studs.

938 this week, made it by 1.55.

With Bell, Benjamin, Wheaton, Olsen and H. Miller on bye this week

Need Brees, Ingram, Dez, Demaryius, Floyd and J. Graham to beast to have a shot.

Stud QB, 2 stud RB, 2 stud WR, 2 stud TE strategy worked well for me. Except my other stud RB was Doug Martin.

Dropped to 18th overall and lost Bradshaw, but at least I survived by the skin of my teeth.

Missing out on Brown and the Pittsburgh Defense this week, but given how many people have Brown and Benjamin (plus other players on bye), that's not so bad.

My core is Brady, Forte, Ingram, Brown, Julio, Sanders, and Graham.

For fun here's a hypothetical entry that would make the cut by at least 59.45 week and have amassed a total of 2595.45 points (for reference the best real entry in the contest has scored 2247.80 combined.

QB Andrew Luck $20

QB Ben Roethlisberger $10

RB Justin Forsett $3

RB DeMarco Murray $27

RB Ahmad Bradshaw $9

RB Matt Forte $32

RB Matt Asiata $2

WR Kelvin Benjamin $5

WR Antonio Brown $22

WR Mohamed Sanu $3

WR Jeremy Maclin $16

WR Emmanuel Sanders $18

WR Golden Tate $13

WR Mike Evans $11

WR Brandon LaFell $3

TE Antonio Gates $10

TE Martellus Bennett $14

TE Mychal Rivera $3

TE Travis Kelce $8

PK Adam Vinatieri $3

PK Caleb Sturgis $3

PK Randy Bullock $3

DST Philadelphia Eagles $4

DST Green Bay Packers $4

DST Houston Texans $4

I'm pretty sure that I've made it to this very week the last three years running and I've always been cut down by this next big cut, its brutal.

I've made it through to the 1000 point 2 of the last 3 years. Haven't sniffed 500. It is a brutal hurdle for sure. Every roster is well constructed. 1600 =>1000 is nothing to sniff at as far as that goes.

Have to take a zero w/ AP not coming back, Blount cut, and Stewart on bye. Sucks.

Oh, well, was fun while it lasted. Thought I had a chance at a run w/ AP back but it was not to be...

Yep, it was fun guys..... Got by last week with no QB. This week, I finally got bit by having only two active RB's (Lacy, McCoy). The rest are all injured, suspended, cut.... etc....

Good Luck to all left!

I just ran the tool for the first time, I'm one of 2 teams left with Graham, Gronk and Foster. That's my best shot at doing well.

What is the tool? I went to the website but wasn't able to access some of the pages because of a work firewall.

Which website?

Here's the querier on my site, if this isn't what you were referring to:

Let me know if you can't access that or if you have any questions.

Your site. Thanks for putting it together. It's great.

Notable players who have fewer than 100 owners whom I have:

- Peyton Manning (66)

- Arian Foster (36)

- Calvin Johnson (25)

and then Gronk with 101. I like my combination of difference makers with the more heavily owned players who will help keep me close to the pack (Benjamin, Graham, A. Brown, Ingram, Sanu).

The average player in the contest is owned by just over 60 teams.

The total number of all players on rosters 21,944. Just over half (11,066) of these slots are occupied by 45 players. The top 46 players are owned by 139 or more people (there's a tie for 45th place).

The top 26 players owned (these all appear on at least 180 rosters - or greater than 3 times the average)

POS Player Alive

WR Kelvin Benjamin 831

QB Jay Cutler 522

WR Antonio Brown 492

RB Mark Ingram 437

WR Emmanuel Sanders 308

I give you probably the least unique team left in the entire contest:

http://o.ffense.com/fbg35k/teampage.php?teamid=105084

This is one of 5 entries that are alive that have all of the top 7 owned players (out of 9 that had all of these guys to start to contest).

The average player on his team is owned by 272.4 people which gives him the edge in non-uniqueness compared to his peers.

The lowest owned player he has is Jack Locker who is on 80 entries. He owns 11 of the 20 most-owned players.

-QG

If we go back to the start of the contest, we find this entry:

http://o.ffense.com/fbg35k/teampage.php?teamid=107890

It's still alive and amazingly it has all 10 of the 10 most owned players at the start of the contest, 11 out the top 12, and 12 out of the top 15.

The average player on his 18-player roster was on just over 3131 rosters at the start of the contest. Even now it beats the "least unique" entry I mentioned above as his average player is on just over 288 live entries.

I love me some odd-ball entries :)

With Ingram, Stewart and Martin as my only surviving running backs, I really need Martin to play this week, and play well.

I don't think I have any chance of winning anything, but it's been a lot of fun as my first experience in this contest and would love to see my team go one more week.

heading into week 12 with the 3-headed monster of...

marshawn lynch

alfred morris &

denard robinson

(also have 4th rb gerhart, but he qualifies as another kind of head)

with jonathan stewart off and lg blount done, going to need these 3 to step up along with megatron and jimmy.

the world meets nobody half way!

-biz-

If Sanders doesn't play this week I will be in big trouble. Without him (and Benjamin/Wheaton on bye), I am left with Cordarrale Patterson, Justin Hunter, Cody Latimer and John Brown as my WR options this week.

Everyone without him is hoping he doesn't play.

Two of my four tight ends are playing on Thursday and at the half, they are killing it. Kelce has a catch for 8 yards and Rivera nada

First week that a Thursday night game has established a cutoff.

Obviously I would have liked more from Kelce, but 12.70 is a good flex score.
