2015 Shark Pool mock draft - The SECOND one (1 Viewer)

I think Indy is up. Jets traded pick 104 for picks 128, 165, 205, 207, 244, and 255.
Jets need all the picks they can get. Indy got what it needed since it loaded up in FA.
I guess I can see his point, but the values add up and the Jets might be looking to trade down for depth. Heck, one of the top contributors for Gang Green Nation over at SB Nation had us trading down in the second to replace these picks. So...

Oh, I know I undersold. But in all honesty, the Colts 5-7th rounds don't make the squad, so while I lost some camp bodies, those are a dime a dozen. I have Allen rated a mid to early 3rd, so it was worth it for me.
Heck, I thought he was laughing at me for dropping down because at those late rounds, you might want a viable chance at a starter rather than mere chances at making the squad. But I think they can get that at 128.

Probably why it helps to simply not use emoticons to make a point.

That the only trade involving 4th round and on, yes? (Aside from my deal with Dallas)
I'm guessing so.

I'd love it if the Jets could make that deal during the real draft, but it just isn't very realistic. Looks like you just wanted to be done with this draft ;) . Buck Allen could have fallen to 128 I'd think or there'd be another similar back.No worries though - just struck me as funny.

Well, there could be that too. But I do like Buck Allen. And Rick Venturi (former Colts coach) was on local radio raving about him. So, I felt good making the deal. Plus I get to see all the great 5-7th rounders I'll miss out on. :D

No worries. I like Allen as well.

Part of the Colts being 4th oldest in the league last year was 19 year vet Adam Vinatieri, 16 year vet Matt Hasselbeck, and 13 year vet Reggie Wayne.

I'm around for the next couple of hours. If ATL makes their pick by then I will make mine tonight too.

A good scouting department uncovers more UDFA gems than late picks.

There simply are more UDFA available than draft picks. A good scouting department wouldn't run the risk of letting a player they covet sign with another team as a free agent. Seahawks have been one of the best teams at finding gems in the late rounds.

The Indianapolis Colts are offering up a 2016 4th and 7th for a late 2015 4th. ;)

There is 1 more players covet in this draft.

Same here, but the pick trade calculator doesn't make it look THAT bad. I think the trade is only impossible because the last one is a compensatory picks and I thought you couldn't trade those picks.

Do we have a list of teams where the drafter has abandoned the draft? I am not in a rush but if someone, including myself, doesn't check into the site every eight hours I think we should community pick for them. If they don't check into the thread before their next pick let's just pick for them.

Would anyone care if we used the team needs from Fanspeak on the clock simulator? Just drafting the highest rated player at one of the team needs seems like an efficient, streamlined way of proceeding.

Or people could PM picks to people drafting after them. Anyone wants to PM me their choice if they coming up, please do.

Need to get a head count on who still live as owners too

I'm in for the distance but I'm driving a lot tomorrow. 7am to 11 then again from 3ish for another three hours. I'll pm if it's close and I can or just take a defensive front prospect from the top of nfl.com's rankings.

I'll pick later this round (STL swapped their 5th for PHIs 4th in the Bradford/Foles trade), than don't have another pick for over two full rounds, until the Rams comp pick in the 6th (and than just their 7th after).

100 Tennessee - David Cobb
101 New England Patriots - Jeremy Langford
102 Oakland Raiders - Jarvis Harrison, OG, Texas A&M
103 Jacksonville Jaguars - Derron Smith
104 New York Jets - Javorius "Buck" Allen
105 Washington Redskins - Jaquiski Tartt
106 Chicago Bears - Lorenzo Mauldin, LB, Louisville
107 Atlanta Falcons - Davis Tull
108 New York Giants - Kwon Alexander
109 Tampa Bay Buccaneers -
110 Minnesota Vikings
111 Cleveland Browns
112 Seattle Seahawks
113 Philadelphia Eagles
114 Miami Dolphins

I'll be around at night but work has apparently blocked fbg. (On cell right now because I'm at the doctor)

4.11 The Cleveland Browns select Sean Mannion, QB, OSU

Taking a shot on a guy that put up great numbers in a pro style offense.

I am having the same problem on both my home and work computers. I can go to the main FBG home page but I get an error when I go to the forums. It only works for me using my phone.

Plenty of guards left. Thought about taking Miller when I took Arie. Was considering it at 4.32 if he was somehow there, don't pick until the 6.02 after the 4.32 still have some needs.
