2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs: All hail the Blackhawks, mudbutt (1 Viewer)

Going bolts tonight. Rags @-152 are too expensive IMO.

My friend paid $800/seat for tix in section 206 row N in Anaheim. A 5 second stubhub search showed the same section and row for $650 so I laughed at him and his idiocy. He called up his broker, yelled at him and cancelled the order. He then got us free tix in the box of one of his clients. Free is good. I think I will be the only Hawks fan in the box though.

The King is 4-0 in Game 7s at home and 15-3 in elimination games since 2012, posting a 1.47 goals-against average and .954 save percentage in those games.

Also tied for the record with 6 game 7 wins.

Go Bolts?
None of those were against this team. Doesn't really matter. Just like that whole they are 7-0 at MSG thing. Who cares? The better team will win tonight, phantom stats from years ago are just a confidence builder for fans who don't play.
You think the Bolts don't know about that string? They can say it has no bearing on the game, but you know its going to have some kind of mental impact - that and the no show in game six. Still going to be a coin-flip though.
No. It doesn't matter at all. You really think a guy like Steven Stamkos considers that stuff? These are not fat talk radio buffoons.Edit: If anything I would think they relish the opportunity to break whatever string people think exists.

Come home happy.

What's Bishop's record against the Rangers again? What about his record playing in MSG?

Hank's moment: Game 7 is Henrik Lundqvist time. He has six consecutive wins in Game 7s, which is a playoff record. His six career Game 7 wins are tied with Patrick Roy and Martin Brodeur for the most by a goalie.

For his career, he’s 6-1 in Game 7s, with a 0.97 goals-against average and .966 save percentage.

And, according to Elias Sports, he’s 10-0 with a 0.96 goals-against average and .968 save percentage at home when facing elimination dating to the 2008 playoffs.

But do the Lightning care? If there’s one team in the Eastern Conference that can look at Lundqvist’s Game 7 mastery and actually view it as a delicious opportunity, it’s indeed these young, brash Lightning.

These kids are champing at the bit to make history.

Asked yet again about Lundqvist’s Game 7 numbers, Lightning captain Steven Stamkos delivered the money quote of the day.

"He’s a great goalie. He’s never played the Tampa Bay Lightning in a Game 7 before," Stamkos said Friday morning.

Boom.

These Tampa kids have an edge about them that’s infectious. I’ve said it before, but it reminds me a bit of the rising Edmonton Oilers of the early 1980s and the healthy cockiness they carried. It was so refreshing at the time.

Man the Bolts are at +150. Rangers at -170.
I don't see +150 available anywhere, even those with 10 cents or less lines.
now I see +154 in one spot. crazy. came close to that for game 5 though
I'm not a gambling guy, what do those numbers mean?
Tampa is rather sizable dogs considering they were ~ +120 to win the series and ~ +125 in games 1&2.+150 means $100 bet wins $150

Torn between the fighting Yzermans and fighting TUs, so just hoping for a tight, well played game.
