2016 Subscriber Contest - live scoring in first post (1 Viewer)

First week that I really had to sweat the box scores.   Combination of byes and dinged up players meant I only had 3 WRs this week and.. they did not do well.  In the clubhouse with 151 points

Cooper and Cousins stepped up big time this week to carry me past a tough week at RB.  I'm going to be using Ware's 6.7 pts this week.   But should move on with 172.1 pts.

A bad season to have $45 invested in injured Cal Bears (not to mention Abdullah and RGIII); with CJ Anderson joining Keenan Allen on the sidelines, it looks like the end of the line for me. 20 points down on the line with only Cutler-13.80, Kadeem Carey-6.7, and Zach Miller-6.3. Would take a very strange game for things to make it one more week (and that'd likely be all).

Doesn't look like the line should move much tonight.  While 12% own the Vikings D, and they should score well, nobody else is widely owned who is likely to score much.

56 of us will be hurting next week with Brady/Gronk out (plus if allen is still injured, and Stafford against the Vikings - WTF was I thinking taking him to match with brady? I'll be in danger ), But with 5 other teams on bye, would anyone hazard a guess on how low the cut can be next week?

189.55 191st with nothing left. Had $74 of dead money this week. $101 if you include Ingram so feel pretty good. Should be okay next week getting back Bell.

Bad luck with in-game injuries this week (Ware, Julio, TY), hope 156 holds up.
Same here, and it had to happen on my worst bye week.  After averaging about 190 so far, I'm currently about 5 points below the cut with just Miller -6.8 left.  Not looking good.

I hope you're right.  I'm done at 137.85, 3 points above the cut.

Stinkers from Julio and White, and pedestrian output from Brees and DJ hurt me much more than a couple of byes did.

Assuming the cut stays at about 135, I need about 10 from Zach Miller to advance.

Terrible week....byes, injuries, Stafford and Rivers sucking on the same week, 5 points total from my 3 kickers.  My defenses suck too (CIN and HOU)

Luckily TEs have a 1.5 point per catch.  So about 4-40 would work for Miller but scoring a TD would really be nice.

Wow!  I was way off on my calculations.  Ended up with 189.45.  #195 overall. (so far I should say) ETE

Looks like I slip through this week, but I'm starting to feel like a dead rooster walking.  My higher priced RB combination of McCoy and CJ Anderson not all that promising moving forward.  Too bad, it was shaping up to be one of my deepest runs ever.

Ouch, Olsen's dud on my worst bye week and I'm done.  Sitting below the cutline with no one going tonight.  Oh well, it's been fun.

I feel like with the high number of quality of players that are on bye, hurt or having a bad week, there will be a lot of otherwise quality teams going down this week.

Each week has been driving me crazy.  I missed the cut because of Julio and Green sucking in week 4 and have been killing it ever since.  Missing the cut due to major players on bye weeks happens but it really hurts when you lose because your studs just sucked the same week.

Really hoping McCoy comes back full strength after his bye, week 10.  Next week will be tough, in Seattle, even I'd he is able to play - but two weeks off might do him wonders.

I'm out boys, nobody showed up.  Was a fun ride.  Love this contest.  Scored 123 with what seemed like a bunch of good RB matchups.   Good luck all!

Injuries killed me this week....   been floating 170's since the start....  barely broke 110

Cobb, Hilton, Ware, D Martin

Current Cut off sitting at 134.85 pending MNF

Good luck to all remaining!!   I will be watching from the sidelines from here on out!

Looks like I made it through with half my team on bye thanks to Brady, Gronk, and Cooper

I like my chances at a deep run but need Hyde and Julio to get healthy please!

So how accurate is the live tool? Are there every any minor adjustments?

I am sitting at just 5 points above the cut line, so wondering if I can breathe or if I still need to worry.

By the way, I don't think I will ever go with 2 Ds or 2 Ks again. If I didn't squeeze in SD or Succup into my lineup for the extra $4 I would be out already.

All of my skill players have contributed at least once.  Only my 4th kicker, Ryan Succop, hasn't contributed yet.
Finally used Succop with his 12.50 points.  I think I'll still stay in the top 250 overall, but will be without Brady, Gronk, and David Johnson next week, which is my biggest remaining bye test.  I'll feel pretty good if I can survive next week and stay healthy...

Thank you, Zach!  19.3 gets me to 142.7 and on to next week! :pickle:

63 percent of the remaining field has Christine Michael meaning 2 things 1. Owning him is getting close to useless and 2. Expect the Monday night football cutline to explode

Or it could go the other way. I'm heavily invested in Michael on my fantasy teams but don't have him in this contest. I've been shopping him but not getting any decent offers.

My concern with Micahel is Russell Wilson's lack of mobility coupled with Seattle's patchwork OL and I'm not very bullish about the Seahawks ability to rush the ball rest of season.

1 - disagree.  Having him is insurance.  Granted, when 2,000 other owners have him, he isn't going to win it for you, but if he has a big week NOT having him can greatly increase your chance of getting booted.  And at $4, that insurance is nice and cheap.

Looking at the MNF schedule for the rest of the season, this week should be the most significant bump.  Plus with so many teams on bye, a lot of us probably have multiple players who will count on MNF. (hopefully McCoy plays - so both of my RBs are likely to count from that game)

FBG should post historical standings. I'm excited to still be alive but am not sure if this is the furthest week I've made it to.
