***2017 Cakeleeg Leeg Thread*** - let's just call it a day (1 Viewer)

pie leeg is weird, they decided to run closers early again, which shuked me last year.  this year I grabbed sam mike dyson and kelvin harrrrrrrarrrrrrrrrrra.

I didn't want to take a closer, but felt if I waited one more round I'd be stuck without a solid one.  #closerssuck
you gotta adjust.......I got caught last year ignoring the run and I couldn't dig out of that hole.  in looking at cake draft, I can find some decent SP late.  I actually have 2 CL and no SP in pie.  last year I got buried picking 15th and when the run came I didn't have a pick before 30 players went.  I am somewhat in the middle here, makes a world of difference.

pearce will be 34, has never had 400 PAs and his highs are 21/49.  likely better than pedro alvarez since, you know, he is actually in the majors.

Capella's Steve Pearce :hot: takes are better than the Price is Right stories.  It's so gross but you just can't look away.     :lmao:

Possible subtitles for the thread:

Steve Pearce, Mike Trout II

Steve Pearce in Florida, surprisingly not to go to the beach

Steve Pearce is he really this good?

Steve Pearce, making PECOTA and Michael Jordan cry

I don't really care about Pearce, I know his limitations but you drafted a minor-leaguer in round 20 with an adp of 550 and then started talking about 35 homers. You lost that right to laugh. :ptts:
