Not sure when we usually start waivers but I think opening them up the week before the season starts is best. Some guys are gonna die in the next two weeks, let all that bake in before a waiver run.

I think waiting too long gives too much advantage to whoever is at the top of the waiver priority.  I say open it up immediately, and if people want to use their priority, let them.  

 
I'm assuming priority will be reverse draft order, and you drop to the bottom of the list any time you use waivers.

I'm talking about free agent pick ups.  What we talked about was making all add go through the waiver process.

In the past the only guys requiring a waiver were call-ups not in the yahoo database or a player dropped by another owner.

I think all undrafted players end up on waivers first before they become free agents.

Only right after you first load the rosters.  Cappy wants a waiver system that runs nightly so he doesn't have to pay attention to baseball during the day or something.  He can take it from here, I'm not fighting his fight for him.

Guys that have algorithms and bots to mine for closers 24-7 will lose their competitive advantage by moving away from the free agency procedure of years gone by in this league and I for one am in favor of it.
