Really? How come? I feel like this is a special season coming for him and the non owners are at a huge disadvantage.
At this point we need all the oddballs eliminated. If Hunt goes down in week 12 and he's 100% owned, big deal. If 10% don't own him they won't have the dead money the 90% Hunt owners have. I realize it's not a huge percentage of the cap, but every little bit helps.

Until Hunt has a horribly bad week, cut lines will be large as odd ball and injury riddled teams are propped up. If hunt drops a >5pt week we will see a super low cut as those teams will get dumped.

just like a few years ago when we had the Bye week bonanzas with people putting all their players on the same byes. Those days are gone and many many more savy players now.

Yeah but Hunt probably wasn't taken to be one of the consistent starters, he was supposed to be a flex or 3rd rb for me.  $10 not counting on any given week isn't a big deal. I guess every little bit helps but I'd prefer to be one of the few remaining Hunt owners than have every team own him.

A few random stats:

  • 69% of Doug Martin owners still alive and patiently awaiting his return
  • 45% of Moncrief owners still alive and not patiently awaiting Luck's return
  • Of only 19 teams with Andrew Luck, 6 are still keeping hope alive
  • 72% of Sturgis owners are alive and hoping he gets designated to return
  • Survival rate for 28-30 man rosters so far: 84.4% (1082 remaining), 18-20 = 55.31% (3640 remaining)... winter bye weeks are coming

It is for those of us with DJ and Olsen.  Hunt's big scores keep me even at RB1 with the field that still have their big guns.  That lets Cook, Powell (and, hopefully, now Smallwood) do what I intended them to do: take turns putting up acceptable RB2 scores.

Sure, that's a reason I want fewer Hunt owners, and to a somewhat lesser extent Cohen, Hogan and Smallwood owners around.

Agreed.  I was at around 170 points at 5:00 PM on Sunday and was hoping Hunt had a bad day to eliminate some of his owners.
His ownership is too high for that to matter. Sure, ideally I'd like to be one of 5% who own him. That's not happening tho. He's going to be the most-owned guy after every cut-down the rest of the way. The masses will always have him now. I know it's just $10 in salary, but if he gets hurt we masses will have $10 in dead salary that the tiny minority won't have.

$10 in dead salary doesn't matter much. Last year 15% of the final 250 had Josh Gordon ($13) rostered.

There is also the threat of rookie rundown after 200+ carries at seasons end.

THAT is precisely why the $3 handcuff is a must have.

And why RB Heavy, with both Hunt and West, is strategery.

Protect the floor, and differentiate to have ceiling advantage.

Bell, Adai, Gillislee + Burkhead, Hunt+West, Smallwood

Of course my WRs with the exception of everybody owns Hogan stink up the joint (Baldwin, M Bryant, Ted Ginn, Hogan, Richardson, Goodwin).

It was a brilliant plan, but I failed to realize that Goodwin can't catch a football.  Oops.

Not me once hunt ownership hits 100 percent he becomes useless
Not necessarily.  It depends on your RB depth.  Teams with good RB depth want Hunt to do bad, while teams with shallow RB depth want Hunt to explode.

That was the case years ago when 249 of the final 250 had Arian Foster.  I had a lot of RB injuries that year, so I needed Foster to be huge so it guaranteed a spot in everyone's lineup where he would be useless.

I need oddballs around for as long as possible. Wish there were 5000 12 kicker guys left

Actually, the better way to say this is that....if you have good RB depth, you're indifferent to Hunt's performance, since if Hunt does really good, it gives you more options to post a better RB2 score or allow your RBs to help post a flex score......and if Hunt does bad, you have a big advantage at RB compared to someone with poor RB depth.  If you have poor RB depth, then you HAVE to root for Hunt to have a big game, so that everyone posts Hunt's score as a RB score.....then Hunt is pretty much worthless.

In general, I think teams that have good RB depth will want Hunt to perform poorly.

I used West's week 1 score haha

The DFS degenerates (I'm one so I can say that) are calling this week as the week that Goodwin finally breaks out.

I'm not buying it.  From the games I've watched Amari Cooper has better hands after having his pupils dilated for a vision test.

Where's the query found?
I had to ask that a few pages back, too. I still don't know how to find it on the site. I've been just direct linking to it. If a link is on the site, they've hidden it well!

Ah crap, that's definitely not where I'd expect it. Also, I never actually go to the standings page. I just click to see if my team is alive, maybe check to see who is contributing what.
Yep. I don't care at all about current standings.

Half my team not playing or limited playing and Z leg wants to keep me in it!!! 15 pts at half time. We shall see though lost of big roster guys going tonight and Monday. I need Bradford back by week 6 or it's all mute.

Mute?

The 1510 surviving Z leg owners have to be loving this. The 71 Gurley/Z owners should be happy. :)

The good news: Up to 175 with Winston, Evans, Ertz and Hunt to still go.

The bad news: Cook may be joining DJ, Olsen and Sturgis on my IR.

Lol had worse auto corrects!

Yep Zleg and Bell finally showing up did me good. I would love a no show (but not hurt) Hunt week! I'm 175 with Hunt, Pryor, garçon to go with -5 and -7 for any of the three.

195 with hunt and a bunch of wrs still left.  not sure how this is happening.  shoulda been eliminated a while ago.
