2018 FBG Subscriber Contest (5 Viewers)

to see how you did in previous years just change the date and the week in the url standings.  If you know your team now you can search it.  For instance when I changed it to week 9 year 2017 and then hit cntrl f to search my teams name I found I finished 188th that week.

Every single year people overrate uniqueness in this contest.  Bell is a wasted $37 any way you slice it

I am one of those 181 surviving Bell non-Conner owners (also posted earlier in this thread). So far things are basically going according to plan with my bid at distinctiveness, though I definitely don't feel comfortable about it.

Oh I don't have him :)

But I cannot fathom the people who took him without backing him up with Conner.  That was an obvious situation to hedge.

My team is far from unique, but I do have the only combos of:

Rivers (QB), DJ (RB), Lockett (WR), and Cook (TE)

and

Ben (QB), Aaron Jones (RB), Ginn (WR), and Goedert (TE)

I searched for a unique combo with Eli (QB), McCaffrey (RB), and Burton (TE), but the closest I have is Taywan Taylor (WR) - 9 teams

in 2015 I got knocked out in week 11 and in 2016 I got knocked out in week 2   :lmao:

Lol Swaine’s 6 and change last week counted lol and my 2$ kicker would have counted if not for Z leg throwing up a big number. 

Went  to super light at WR this year. Stills and Goodwin are my highest paid. Lol I’m banking on Grant turning Super stud by mid year..... hey it could happen. 

Slightly worried I over paid at QB this year with all the high scores going up but it’s a long season and you pay for consistency in this league..... unless you took Kelce and he pulls off more games like Week 1 

 
1202 unhappy Josh Gordon owners this week.  I only mention it because he wasn't cheap, and he is on 9% of teams.  Last week he had an 85% survival rate, and that number is likely to go down every week until he can latch on to another team.

Could end up being a league winner! But I’m glad I have no stake with him.

Glad I avoided that land mind too specially with my low investment with WR this year... however if he did get traded to Dallas (since they won’t trade him to NE) he could end up being an WR1 by the end of the year... 

however even if he was $4 I still wouldn’t have drafted him, kinda like Eifert and a few other names I just don’t care what price they are I’m not touching them.

I’m riding the Turk at this point and Z leg pulled his groun in warmups so down goes my best kicker... gonna need Brady, Galloday and Barclay to come through here.

171.75 with Breida/Carson -10.3, Rosas - 12.3,  and Bears -2.  Feeling pretty good, although with 4 TEs, and 3 of them took 0s today... not liking that.  Need Goeddert or Gesicki to start getting involved.

 
14 points over the cut.  I have players left but they have big hurdles to jump before they count.

 
wow I cant believe the cut mark this week. my team did actually pretty awesome. hard to believe I'm on the cusp with Barkley, Burton, Chicsgo D and Lockett left. Should put me above the line but damn... not sure I'm going to make it much longer. 

 
Despite DJ continuing to be MIA, at 210 with Elliott (-15), Gallup and Ja. Brown (-17.7) and Parkey (-12.8).  3 WRs with a total cost of $18 giving me 61.5 points.
