Beilein is a prince of a coach.  My gb from grad school, who is a UM grad, invited him to speak at his best buddy's wedding a few years ago and JB showed up.  That makes you want to root for that guy, he's top-shelf. 

My buddy is a HS coach and he invited me to a coach clinic with Beilein and Tom Izzo 4 years ago.  There were 30 HS coaches there and a bunch of hangers on like me.   It was to last 60 minutes,  Izzo was OK but was looking at his watch like he wanted to leave and bolted right at the 60 minute mark.  Beilein stayed for well over 2 hours...until every question and tactic was answered,  Was in no hurry to leave and said how much he loved talking to HS coaches. I really think he would have stayed longer but the gym was being used.
