Got my tix for Mon nite at the Trop, lowers on the 3rd base line for $100 each. I think that is very reasonably priced for playoffs. Reserved a suite at the Hollander which provides shuttle to the game and it's also $5 Martini Monday at the hotel!

We love this hotel. Always stay there when we go to games. Great pool and outdoor bar.

I’ve said all season the Braves bullpen sucks and will be one of the reasons they won’t go far in the postseason.

And for as exciting as that game seemed, I thought it was poorly played and the pitching changes and mound visits were just infuriating.  4+ hours to watch that is horrible - admittedly, I’m not as big a baseball fan now as when I was a kid but I don’t see how the casual fan gets pulled in to that.

I went to games 1,2 and 7 in the '97 WS when the Marlins beat the Indians. What I remember the most is singing "We are the Champions" along with 40,000 other drunks until the wee hours in Joe Robbie Stadium.

Scheffield got robbed of the MVP that year for sure(although I would listen to a case for Alou).

Glasnow has been dominant since his return from injury. For that matter he was lights out before he hurt his arm early in the season. He looks like he can dunk a bball without leaving his feet.
