I’m not sure what to believe about this Primo story. Crazy.
i obviously have no idea what Ime did but the Nets have a much higher risk tolerance at this point as they try to salvage their dumpster fire. They don't dislike Mazzulla, but they don't understand what Ime did that was so awful that he can coach the Nets but not the Celtics. I admit I wonder that myself. It's unclear what the players know (or think they know) about what Udoka did (or didn't do).Man I really hope their culture doesn't implode. The end of the Kyrie era and the subsequent way the players tuned out Stevens was ugly to watch. Hopefully they like Mazzulla enough to stay the course even if they don't like the Ime situation.
Andrew Brandt tweeted this earlier today:i obviously have no idea what Ime did but the Nets have a much higher risk tolerance at this point as they try to salvage their dumpster fire.
The more I try connecting the few dots we have to connect, the more I think that someone internal to the Celtics was none too pleased about what was going on and threatened to expose state secrets or file a huge lawsuit unless Ime was removed from the organization. That's the only thing I can come up with that would make him toxic in Boston but not in Brooklyn. Think about it. If Ime did whatever he did, and the party or parties involved went to management / ownership. Potentially they knew about it, ignored it, and let the situation continue. Very bad look with potential liability concerns.Andrew Brandt tweeted this earlier today:i obviously have no idea what Ime did but the Nets have a much higher risk tolerance at this point as they try to salvage their dumpster fire.
"We hear a lot about "culture" with companies, kind of an amorphous term. Today I heard what I thought was a fascinating definition of culture: "Culture is the worst behavior an organization will tolerate." Clear and accountable. And yes, I thought of the Commanders and Nets."
Sounds like Celtics simply set the bar higher than the Nets.
awfully tough lugging all that weight around while trying to do slightly athletic thingsin other news, Jimbo is out a month with a right foot tendon strain, so that's neat.
Or, alternatively, the Nets don't give two ****s about culture or ethics or people or really anything other winning. The more I try connecting the few dots we have to connect, the more I think that someone internal to the Celtics was none too pleased about what was going on and threatened to expose state secrets or file a huge lawsuit unless Ime was removed from the organization. He had such an easy out but, of course, he didn’t take it.Nets suspend Kyrie for at least 5 games. Here is the full statement

i'm familiar with this shtick. some people can know absolutely that they are wrong, or mis-spoke, or said something they should not have in certain company.. whatever... but they are never, ever, ever, ever, ever going to say "i was wrong". never. ever. never. He had such an easy out but, of course, he didn’t take it.Nets suspend Kyrie for at least 5 games. this is also a guy who openly said the earth was flat. It seems clear his brain works differently than most others.
Wow. Worse than I thought it was going to be. Similar to kanye.I guess he probably really believes this stuff.

The way that press release is worded - I think he's done with the Nets. He's not going to complete whatever "objective remedial measures" they put in front of him. Guy is dumber than a box of rocks.
With Bol Bol, anything is possibleDid not expect the Magic to beat the Warriors. Wow.
Good luck with thatI wouldn’t be surprised if he sues for religious discrimination.

Him and Russ could both be sitting at home.Irving is a FA at the end of the year. It’s not unreasonable to think nobody signs him. Pretty wild.
His NBA career is over. It's happening!!! Kudos to Nets
Cancel Kyrie. **** that guy
Yea, good chance we never see him play basketball again.Irving is a FA at the end of the year. It’s not unreasonable to think nobody signs him. Pretty wild.
But hire a coach suspended for a year??Nets suspend Kyrie for at least 5 games. Here is the full statement
I've had a few friends and professional contacts who were/are BHIs. The belief is pretty hardcore. It's just near impossible to have a meaningful discussion about the movement with them, and I do everything I can for the issue not to arise.Wow. Worse than I thought it was going to be. Similar to kanye.I guess he probably really believes this stuff.
Yeah, but Uncle Drew was pretty awesome.kyrie thinks he’s smarter than everybody else well he isnt take that to the bank brohans

Noticed a few Facebook friends from high-school spreading this stuff lately. Giving it visibility has an impact.Wow. Worse than I thought it was going to be. Similar to kanye.I guess he probably really believes this stuff.
I wouldn't go that farHis NBA career is over. It's happening!!! Kudos to Nets
Cancel Kyrie. **** that guy
What a beautiful thing.
His NBA career is over.

This is probably good enough to get him on the path to returning after the suspension. Of course, he can still mess things up.
100% Kanye and Kyrie have amplified this. Twitter is a cesspool. I have a few "friends" who believe this as well as flat-earth and other conspiracies and they are feeling vindication and being loud.Noticed a few Facebook friends from high-school spreading this stuff lately.
